I am new here but not new with the hsv, i have read here some posts which were from 2012 and these post were talking about new hope for cure or vaccine , and we are now in 2015 and we still hear about the same news, i am wondering why we are not united till now to find a solution, i mean if we can build a solid front of 100 ooo persons we can do a lot, for example we can make pressure to make a fast track for some medical trails , we can collect 100 000 dollar to help for example the project of DRACO to start a medical trail for a cure for herpes. I heard for example that a famous billionaire donate with 32 billions dollars to help the human beings , imagine that we as 100 000 persons contact his foundation sure we can have positive response.

Who would like to join and be number 1?

Not to be a dick but u need more than 100 dollars ..and second is that herpes never gets ligth shine on..you see cancer walks..aids walks ...3rd I have more faith in franzer from Australia than Draco.. In long run you need to look life accepted it for what it is..till cure arrives ..move beyond cure ..live

Sometimes you need to realize we aren't Donald Trump.. Some of us are college kids or high school and others can afford 100 dollars ..but to some people that's food table. Faster you realize this shit been around longer than your life accepted it for what it is..unless you can really push for walk for herpes then am in.. Am happy to see you very upbeat. But I seen post from 2012 and we still don't have cure... I talk to people twice my age they don't think about a cure...just suck it up ..live life..and save your 100 dollars take your boyfriend or girlfriend out..

what you are saying its just stupid, I have some money and I can afford to pay for having a better life quality, if you dont have money I dont care...nobody forced you to give anything but I do have some and I can afford it, and I guess a lot of people like me can afford it too. I just want a better life quality, dont worry about my dinners with my boyfriend or girlfriend ok?

by the way, I do belive in Karma, so I dont mind to pay for a research for a cure that will improve my life quality and other people too.

The fight is against the world view, thats not something you win with money

I have way more respect for people who volunteer their bodies and possible livelihood to vaccine/treatment trials than people who contribute money.

Frankly, that's the best way to contribute to the stabilizing of this virus, by volunteering at test sites.

I agree with you because you can have bad side effects ..if your body rejects drugs..sometimes its harmful ... Sad part is that Frazer is to far for me to volunteer my body to cure..that has a lot more weigth than money

      Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

      Hey @WilsoInAus miałam dzisiaj wizytę u dermatologa, gdyż dostałam zmian w pachwinie, w trakcie wakacji nad morzem. Udałam sie tam ze zmianami w postaci strupów. Powiedział ze nie można wykluczyć opryszczki mimo negatywnego wyniku Hsv igg i zalecił wymaz z pochwy na Hsv i inne choroby. Wytłumaczyłam mu że zmiany zamieniają się w strup, ale nie ma w nich płynu, więc zalecił badanie śluzu pochwy na hsv PCR, zastanawiam się czy ma to sens, i czy wirusa można wykryć na podstawie tego badania w wydzielin z szyjki macicy.
