help, diagnosed, no symptoms, desperate

Hi everyone, I am going crazy. I think this is a nightmare and I need to wake up. I had my woman annual check up 2 weeks ago. They called me with my results 2 days ago. Everything came negative except herpes, and she said "you tested positive for both types" which I'm guessing is hsv1 and hsv2. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EVER HAD A COLD SORE, I HAVE NEVER HAD AN OUTBREAK !!!!!!! I am so scared of getting one. Is it possible to get another test ? It was only a blood test. I am in a committed 3 year relationship. We just got a place together and had just moved in when I got the news. Yes very supportive and is taking it way better than me & it's going to get tested soon. Please someone help me !!!! I've googled alot but I have so many questions. Can I share a drink with him or cups??? Would I give it to people by kissing them or hand touch if I've never had a sore or outbreak??? I have 2 6year old cousins that are my life, how do I prevent from passing it to them. They're kids!!!!!! I would die if I infect them. I am very healthy, run alot,eat healthy, weight train about 5 times a week drink preworkout, protein and other supplements and now I think I'm gonna get anxiety if I go workout because the preworkout gives me tingles on my face (it always does that which is normal) but all I can think about is I am huge virus walking around I've been crying everyday and I can't stop thinking about it. can I kiss my partner if I have hsv1? And I don't mean just pop kissing I mean a kiss kiss, even if I've never had an OB on my mouth or any part of my body. Can someone help me answer this questions ????

Your boyfriend may already have hsv-1 and not even know... Most people acquire it as kids from relatives.. Many people may never get an outbreak, not even a cold sore. If u have it, he MAY have it as well but only a blood test will tell... A blood test is very accurate. May I ask what were the numerical value? Did u ever get tested before?

I also have hsv 1 and 2.... I got my first "cold sore at 16 after kissing my ex husband... I recently tested for herpes, last December... I thought it was always included when I asked for stds but learned from my doc that they do not test for it unless it is specifically asked for it...

Hsv is only passed by skin to skin contact... Hsv-1 is usually oral but can also be genital (oral sex)

Hsv-2 is by sexual contact, meaning friction of penis n vagina...(anal)

I would cry a lot too... It's been 8 months since I found out.... No more crying, well maybe once in the last month... I've been w my bf for 5 years n when I tested positive I sent him to get tested... He is negative! That tells me I've had hsv-2 for more than 5 years w/out a recognizable outbreak or a horrible outbreak some people get...

Continue to work out to keep your body strong and healthy... Don't over do it.Try not to stress. I ordered the book, "the Good News about the bad News" by Terri Warren. Very informative
