Lesions at Entrance? :(

Hi friends,

I was getting out of my epsom bath, pretty excited that I was feeling much better (noticed bumps Monday night, went to doctor and go put on antivirals Tuesday afternoon). I was putting some super lysine plus gel on the sores, and noticed that I had some lesions at the entrance of my lady parts. :( I hadn't noticed them before, but I had felt pain there. It had also been more swollen, almost to the point of being shut there. The lesions are white, and feel itchy. Could they be itching because they are healing, or is this a whole new round 2 to my first outbreak?

Thanks, I'm kinda worried about this so any encouraging thoughts/experiences would be grand.

According to my giver, it's HSV-1, and I've been taking 1000mg acyclovir daily (200mg 5x a day) along with 3000mg l-lysine and 2000mg vitamin c.

Until your body builds up antibodies to help control the virus, you can have back to back outbreaks. It sounds like you are doing every right to help fight this virus but until your immune system responds and builds up antibodies, there may not be much else you can do.

Good luck!

Thank you! I think I was just healing since I'm almost completely back to normal today :)

I feel your pain (literally) I hate when you can feel the pain but can't locate it then all of a sudden you feel bumps or stinging...I just managed to escape one outbreak that was brewing then today woke up with a bump in a different location (further down from opening). I feel constantly riddled and I can't pinpoint why, I don't know what is triggering back to back outbreaks and I've had this over 3 years now! I have had some relief between outbreaks but it's just not good enough. I've taken a break from Acyclovir because I'm not sleeping with anyone and probably won't be any time soon but I don't want to depend on Acyclovir for the rest of my life. I've read St John's Wort helps and elderflower so I've bought some to see if they can combat this shit. Hope you get some relief soon!

  • 3 weeks later...

I'm going through this right now & I'm terrified that they won't go away in 3 days.

I was only given Valtrex for a 3 day period. It looks so disgusting. I hope on day 3 its completely gone :(

Mine lasted 6 days but didn't crust over so I don't know if it was H. Could have been irritation from condom. Doc told me to go in for swab next time.

How has St. John's wort been? I heard good things about it was thinking of switching from olive leaf since St John's helps with anxiety too

I have an area at my entrance that acts up too. I use coconut oil and it really helps! Hit me up if you need to talk. I'm newly diagnosed:)

I tried a lot of stuff and it all went away when I tried St.John's Wort....

I thought it was all a dream!!! I felt soo normal.

Do yourself a favor and try St.John's Wort.

Also, make sure you get a high quality SJW, Gaia Herbs grows their own and they have it in liquid extract capsules.

How much St Johns Wort do you take??

Everywhere recommends to take between 300-500mg 3x/day.... I thought that was kind of a lot. I just started at 1/day. I've used powder extract and the Gaia Herbs liquid extract and the liquid is definitely longer lasting it seems.

Now, photosensitivity is something... but this is a very small dose. But don't spend too much time out in the sun and wear sunglasses when around UV light. Not trying to alarm you but it's just good to be safe. I've gotten a few other people to try it and they've felt great and recovered amazingly with it. One woman had a bad reaction where she felt irritable after taking it. We are all different so it's hard to tell what will happen. She also got St.John's Wort from Walgreens. I hate to be one of those quality sticklers but I think it's very important with SJW... Also, I've read some articles talking about toxicity from adulterants in crappy brands....

Anyhow, I ended up taking SJW for 5 days, then I stopped to see how things would come back. The 3rd day off, I started to feel prodrome again. I started taking it again because I'm in school and things are stressful for another 5 days and things chilled out. Now, haven't taken it since last week (6 days ago). I have hsv1 oral and genital... I found this face cream that I use on my face now and I think it's a Godsent as far as treating the nerves locally rather than systemically.

SJW regenerates nerves, it clears inflammatory heat... it really is amazing. The way it combats the virus is by creating an environment whereby the virus can't maintain its structure so it falls apart and is easily picked up by the immune system. At least that's my impression from my reading. I used to get sensations all over my face, erosions... ohhh it was tormenting.. And I work with people. When I took SJW, it all healed. And it was as if the virus was being pushed back to its source... at the trigeminal nerve ganglia... 3 days in, the only sensations I felt was some heat in front of my ears, at my cheek bones, which is where the ganglia/root of the Trigeminal nerve resides.

anyhow, frayed wires produce unnecessary heat. These are vulnerable areas for breakouts. So we gotta mend and repair those frayed wires and I believe that this is what SJW exactly does!

Hi guys, My name is Shelly. I'm 25 years old! I've had Herpes for 5 going on 6 years now. I'm just here hoping to learn more ways to deal with the situation and meet new people who actually know what I'm going through!  Thank you for reading! 💕

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.
