Anyone ever have this?

This is my second OB. I have one round blister covering 3/4 of the urination hole. Then I have around the edge of my vagina opening inside six pieces of skin hanging that looks like 6 tongues. The are only connected on one side and can be moved all around like a tongue! They are shaped like a triangle going to a point like a tongue. They are smooth, no bumps. Just look like I cut skin inside me that shape.

This is my story so far. I had my first OB a few weeks ago. 4 days after no protection with my boyfriend. I was in so much pain. Red Gentiles, burned like mad when I urinated. Couldn't touch myself to wipe. I couldn't sit or walk.

I looked with a flash light and saw red bumps inside my lips and vagina. Also a white discharge. Went to urgent care since it was a weekend. Dr there said I 100% had herpes and I asked for a swab test and he refused and he said I see it all the time I know what you have. He put me on valtrex 1000 mg 3x a day. It took almost two weeks but they just went away no scabbing.

Then went to my doctor and had blood work done I tested negative for both kinds of herpes since it was only one week after I contracted it. The dr gave me 500 mg valtrex 2x a day to take as soon as I feel an outbreak coming on.

I am on my second outbreak. Less than two weeks later! I took the 50 mg 2 x a day at first sign of it starting. It did nothing. I got the outbreak anyway but it is different. This time it gave me a UTI with it. I bleed every time I urinated. My urine sample had blood in it and bateria so positive for a UTI. Earlier the Pharmacist told me since the outbreak came to go back to the dose I was on during my first out break of 1000 mg 3x a day. Doctor I go to does my Pap smears & annual check ups any infections but they refused to swab the blisters. They said I need to go to a I gyno that does that. Then they also refused to give me more Valtrex. I had to triple up on what she gave me to make higher dose.

She said unless I have a positive diagnosis my insurance won't cover it. I begged her for it so she would only give me 10 more days of it and I have to get in as a new patient somewhere else by then when the sores will probably be gone. Ugh. I was put on antibiotic for UTI FOR ONLY 3 days. Yet my friend also happens to have a UTI and she was given 10 days of same medicine. The urinating burning stopped. The feeling I have to go all the time but couldn't stopped while on the antibiotic. One day off it and the painful burning is back having to urinate constantly only little comes out is back.

I called on call Dr this saturday because I didn't want to have to suffer until Monday if I wasn't given enough Antibotic.

The dr said three days should have been fine. He told me for an outbreak 1000 3x a day is the wrong dose that's for shingles patients not outbreaks. Yet it's what urgent care doctor gave me as well as other doctor in his office. He said outbreaks are 500mg 2 x a day. I was on that at first sign of outbreak and it didn't work. Which he said was too much as well. He said I should be on 500 mg 1 x a day at first sign on outbreak. Then 2x a day 500 IF I get outbreak.

Here's another question...doctor said the 1000 3x a day I'm taking will not help me anymore than if I took 500 2x a day? Is that true? He also said if my sores didn't scab up I don't have herpes but I read on here not everyone's scabs up but I had every other symptom.

Anyone ever have these triangle tongue shaped skin peices I described above or know what they are?

I have been given SO much different information by three different doctors. I really need to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. I got this second outbreak be my doctor said asymtom shedding had no medical truth to it. Sigh

I can't get into an OBGYN place as a new patient for two months. And my dr won't give me anymore valtrex. Please help...

I'm so sorry you are getting such typical medical care. Mine was about the same. I found 500 2x a day to be not that effective and upped it to 1000 2x per day which is what I understood to be the norm for initial outbreaks. That seemed to work better. Once I felt like I was not getting new lesions I dropped back to 500 2-per day. My new dr said shed like to see 500 as a main thence dose if I am not having an ob. I really pisses me off they act like it's gold or narcotics or something. I'm the patient here and all this does is relieve the symptoms for crying out loud. As soon as they are sitting in my shoes they can have more to say about it, which they are not. So just shut up and give me the rx.

Also herpes sores I had never scabbed , but I have it alright. Ones on mucous membranes may not scab much FYI doctor. What an idiot- not herpes if it doesn't scab.

Thank you for your compassion. Yeah right they do act like its narcotics. I just want to be able to pee without screaming and walk like a normal person!

Thank you for confirming the non scabbing as well.

I think from photos I saw the tongue shaped skin is HPV.

Unprotected sex one time with my boyfriend who has no symptoms and has only been with two other woman including his wife 18 years and I get a UTI, herpes, & HPV. Plus a month of crazy pain. Sigh

Is there a type of doctor or PA I can see that just works with std's that is actually educated in this? They give me false info then tell me not to trust the Internet.

The good news is that my generic valacyclovir is $22 for 30 1000 mg so tell the dr you don't need insurance to agree you have h. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh my, you poor thing!!! That is so awful!

My first 2 months were absolute torment but reading your post... wow....

So, I tried a lot of things. THE ONE THING THAT HELPED CLEAR AND HEAL EVERYTHING!!! Guess what, St.John's Wort.

Get it from Gaia Herbs (it's liquid extract) and Gaia Herbs grows all their own herbs.. super amazing quality.... First day, you might as well take 1 pill, 2x that day. Then just take it 1x a day thereafter for a week.

St.John's Wort, NOT ONLY IS EXTREMELY ANTIVIRAL TO HSV, BUT IT regenerates nerves. SJW goes to nerves, regenerates nerves, has an heat clearing/anti-inflammatory effect, it's an immune stimulant, it disinhibits urination..... It's a panacea for someone going through a herpes outbreak.

I couldn't believe it. I put it off for so long. I used another formula called Echinacea Goldenseal (which also has St.John's Wort in it)... That's a really great formula but it isn't something I would take for long term. Honestly, you should get both of them but if you were going to pick ONE, SJW. Side effects are plenty with Rx drugs.... Just try it.

Think of a frayed wire. It's weak and generates inappropriate heat. It's a weak spot in the circuit. this weak spot on the nerve tract is an excellent spot for a lesion to spark up at. SJW will strengthen, regenerate and heal your nervous system. I need to make a post on how amazing it is and just copy and paste it but I just keep rewriting it.
