Females with ongoing symptoms?

Recommended Posts

I'm a 30 year old female. I am about 3 months in with my HSV2. I would like to talk to chat with a female dealing with the same issues. I have lingering symptoms...I feel like my outbreaks never really completely go away. I'm so annoyed! Hit me up ladies! Thanks:)

What kind of symptoms are you experiencing? I think it's pretty common to experience ongoing symptoms for the first 6 months to a year. Your body is building up antibodies (or something like that). After that, it should calm down, though it's different for everyone. You could take suppressive meds if it's really bothering you or try l-lysine vitamins. I like to put a drop of tea-tree oil on a qtip and put it down there when I feel itchy/tingly and that does the trick for me. Try different things until you find what works for you! And remember, not everything you feel down there is herpes related!

Hi! I had my first outbreak in June this year. I never got any blisters. I just have redness on my inner labia and some pain in my vagina. The redness went away for a couple weeks but came back in the same area. I have some pain and tingling most of the time. I take acyclovir but I feel like my OB never goes away. When is it going to let up!?

It's a matter of getting the virus to go to "sleep".  Best way of doing that is eating right, getting plenty of rest, exercising, and keeping stress levels under control.  If the antivirals work for you, even better.  It's harder for women to control the virus b/c of constant hormonal activity and the fact that we tend to be more stressful and emotional.  Like november13 said, everyone is different and you have to do what is best for you.

  • 2 weeks later...

In the same boat. My butt hurts off and on. No pain, no itching, tingling. But a little red (when it was a nice color a week before... for about a week... healthy-looking) and I see flush-like bumps inside lips - could be from prior (initial ?) OB...? I inspect daily. Need to know diff between healthy and sick girly parts.

Good times...

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.

Never had a history of Oral cold sores before, but have dated someone with them.  Thats very interesting about the test. This was my first full panel.  The large bumps have recently show up, its been about a few weeks when I noticed them. Again no pain nor fluids from them.
