Looking for anyone that shares this dreaded location for their outbreaks.  I just wonder what others deal with...I have pain, burning, stinging, intense cutting feelings inside anus...crack is itchy...sorry for being so graphic...oh and the prodome is on my vagina, no sores there though... Not ever...

Yeah, wow.  Umm so one of the sacral nerves branches down, encircles the anus, continues through the perineum and innervates with the vagina.   I'm not big on taking Rx drugs.  If they come out with the new class of drugs that one would take just once a week then I would consider stocking it.  They're said to have minimal toxicity compared to valtrex.  but anyway, I'm really big on St. John's Wort.  If you are reluctant about taking it internally then consider a topical of it and just slather it on the affected area.

SJW is antiviral to HSV, it regenerates nerves and flesh.  It detoxifies the blood.  It's anti-inflammatory.  It's pretty amazing.  Not saying you'll respond the same as I or other have but it's worth looking into.  HSV is a nerve affliction and when nerves are damaged by the eruptions of HSV then those areas are hotspots, vulnerable to recurring outbreaks.

I just want to share a quote I got from someone on another board talking about his experience with St John's Wort.

"I used to get Obs ever month, Acyclovir didn't work, L-Lysine didn't work, I started taking St Johns Wort (under my drs supervision) and I stopped having Obs all together. I used to get the worst obs and when the St Johns wort knocked it out, I kept taking it for a few years, I finally stopped taking it and now I only get obs once every year and a half. I always suggest that people try it, its not guaranteed to work for anyone else the way it worked for me."

I get it in my butt too.My Crack feels ripped and it itches and burns.I have experienced this on and off for probably about 2 years - way before I knew I had hsv2 so not sure if it's a real outbreak or just an anal fissure.

But - when I got diagnosed back in June of this year, what led me to the Dr was a little cluster of blisters on my butt.On the butt cheek but very close to the anus.Since June,it's happened one more time and it was much less severe.

I personally would rather have it on/in my butt than on my vagina so, I'm hoping if I do continue to have outbreaks, that it never goes to my vag. (Maybe that's just me though)

Also -it's have been wearing thongs for years and can't stand any other underwear so I've been going commando. It sucks but I feel it's the best way to not irritate things down there.

Sorry you're dealing with this too.

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.

Never had a history of Oral cold sores before, but have dated someone with them.  Thats very interesting about the test. This was my first full panel.  The large bumps have recently show up, its been about a few weeks when I noticed them. Again no pain nor fluids from them.
