new to this, ex won't admit he passed it

Recommended Posts

Im seventeen years old, and i just found out i had herpes yesterday... the docter took one look and said thats almost certainly what it was. I tried to talk to my ex boyfriend about it who gave it to me and he called my a bullshiter, a drama starter, and a dirty hoe. I found out that he'd been cheating on me with three other people at once when i was with him. He moved to another province a week or two ago and doesn't believe that he gave me the virus. Im so scared.. this is all way too new to me. I did everything i could to prevent something like this from happening. Ive always been very clean, and i refuse to have unprotected sex. When i got with him, i made him and myself get tested to be safe and we were both clean which is why i guess he doesn't believe me. The funny part it this kid is sixteen years old. Ive been talking to my other ex who lives a fair distance away as well and his reaction was not nearly the same. Hes twenty six. He told me that "people, well the special ones, will understand and still love you for who you are. It doesn't make or break you."  He still believes in me and loves me despite my horrible decisions. He even stated that he wouldn't be surprised if he had it because of the statistics of it, which he shared with me, and that he should get himself tested as well as a precaution. Hes been very supportive. What makes what happened with my first ex so ridiculous is that he raped and tried to kill me in february, while stupid high on a mixture of prescription medications he'd been fed by a "friend" of ours. It took me a long time to learn how to forgive him for that and understand that he hadn't been in the right mind, but i learned a really hard lesson here: when people show you who they really are, you must believe them, because it might be the only time they dont lie to you and manipulate you.

hey, welcome, dont worry about your current bf, guys dont mature till they're 33, so emotionally hes a toddler. As for your ex bf, did you report him for the rape? This must be so hard for you, to go through a rape and then have this diagnosed. You'll get through it, but i think you should really speak to someone about this, a counselor, a friend, parent, relative.Good on you for taking the first step :) stay strong.

Hang on @tweetsoc this is just self-indulgent self-delusion. What is super tricky about HSV? You're only saying that because of the super trick situation you are in having cheated on your partner, stop deflecting, how does that help anyone least of all yourself? You do not know you are going through an issue with HSV; it is pretty much certain you are not.

The first article is from 'The Sun' which is just a sensationalist rag. The second article deals with a correlation between HSV-2 and cardiovascular issues that may cause ED. Did you actually read it? NONE of the participants experienced ED at the time of infection and 0.5% self reported EDS after 12 months. How does that fit with your 9 days. Herpes infections do not cause orchitis, that's just a myth that is started and perpetuated by people on web forums. There is no medical evidence of this. It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with me on HSV. There is no subjectivity in the facts that I present.

None of this changes the fact that: you cheated on your partner and you can't cope with that; and you do NOT have genital HSV. Yes I do have to lecture about messing up because you are not dealing with it. You are creating a world of confusion from fake and/or obscure accounts of HSV in order to not deal with it. Whether you consider it nasty or not is exactly the point - this is the key thing that is wrong with you - when are you going to address - man up! Who has tested years later despite a negative WB?

Thanks tweetsoc,  I haven't taken anything but ibuprofen. My doctor won't give me anything without the lab work. I get tested on the 17th and if negative again 4 weeks after that  I will look into prostatitis and definitely ask him about it. Best of luck to you. I hope you get some relief. Are your symptoms constant or do they come and go? It's strange how the brain works. Sometimes this drives me crazy and sometimes I have just got used to the feeling of hot sauce in my pants. good luck to you.
