very new to this, ex wont admit he passed it to me

My ex moved to ontario a week or so ago and a few days later i thought i had gotten a yeast infection from our last encounter before he left. I noticed some sores 'down there' in the bathroom between classes yesterday and FREAKED. I went right to the hospital and the gynocologist in the emergency room informed me that she was 99 percent certain i had herpes, the one percent being liability. I was stunned. I was DEVASTATED. Im seventeen, and ive never had unprotected sex, except for one partner, who was completely faithful and who suggested we both get tested before having unprotected sex just to be safe. Ive tried to talk to my most recent ex about this problem and hes in total denial. Hes called me a bullshiter,  a drama starter, and a dirty hoe. What makes this all so ridiculous on my part is that this ex raped me and tried to kill me while stupud high on a mixture of prescription drugs that had been fed to him by a 'friend' of ours at the time. It took me a long time to work past that and forgive him and let myself love anyone, including myself, again. Coincidentally, i talked to the clean ex about this, and he was much more supportive (hes also ten years older than the other guy so thats a dead giveaway there). He told me that "people, well the special ones, will understand and love you for who you are. It doesn't make or break you." He even said that he wouldn't be surprised if he had it, given the statistics, which he shared with me, and said he should get tested as well to be safe, even though we both know he is unusually sexually inactive for a guy his age. Moral of the story, when someone shows you who they really are, please, PLEASE, for the love of god, believe them.

Yeah this sucks, this is the same as my ex. Stupid idiot says she doesn't have it after having a positive result on a blood test. Some ppl are just f%cked and there is unfortunately nothing you can do about it. You can use the dontspreadit.com site to send these idiots messages to remind them of their shit anonymously then hopefully any future partners may also see and go wtf and tell them to go get blood tested. Anyway it's sh%t but it tells you a lot about ppl some are just gutter licking scum.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
