I realized this evening that I am not shedding!  This is the first day since the first outbreak.  No tingling.  No itching.  

I had prayer with a dear friend of mine.  She just called and I told her about my diagnosis.  We talked about the fact that I wanted to pray but I just couldn't find the words.  I didn't know how to say how scared I was, how alone I felt, how angry I was that he allowed this, how I didn't know what to do next.  She just prayed and said it all for me.  I finally found peace.  

I was reminded that, even though I just found out a week ago and didn't know how to talk to God about it, I was still able to help my clients, coworkers, friends, etc.  I even encouraged others. He's been with me even though I didn't know how to face him with my fears.  So I'm ok today.  One day at a time.

As a Christian, I don't believe there is a need to pray regarding HSV-1. Why HSV-1 as opposed to the 100 other more dangerous viruses that inhabit every one of our bodies? This implies that HSV is something to be delivered from when that isn't the case.

One day at a time is all we are granted. Today 4 billion people will live their day with HSV.

God has already answered their prayer as he has done for you thousands of days ago when you were infected. You lived those thousands upon thousands of days without even know you had HSV thanks to your immune system already granted by a powerful, wise and merciful God. 

A week ago you simply learnt the name of just one of the 100 viruses in your body. What's different? God doesn't want you to live your life differently as a result of this. He wishes you to live a life of love.

Pray for the fleeing Syrians, pray for the families of the 100 people who will die in America today from gunshots, pray for the thousands of women who will be sexually assaulted today, pray for the hundred of millions of children who will go hungry today. These are the unanswered prayers that need all our voices and thoughts.

Of course there is no prayer for deliverance of this.  That wasn't even why we prayed.  There was no implication of that kind of prayer at all.  When someone doesn't know about a new situation in their life is it good to pray so that they can find peace, answers and move on to other things.  So we are not stuck.  So we can help others and be available for all the things you listed.  So I can do my job without wondering how this new situation affects it.  So no.  My prayer was not selfish, I'm glad this was a time God wanted to share some news about what was going on inside of me and how he will continue to use me while I have it.  

And YES I do pray for the issues you listed there, but thank you for the reference to them.  Lets me know my prayers are not alone.

pray that all souls may find peace within themselves, regardless of their situation. Pray that souls may end cease their deluded ways and head toward the Light. 

We may engage in good deeds in the world and bring about some positive benefit, good deeds with high moral standards brings even Higher benefit, but the meditative/prayer practices are the most powerful and of the highest actions one can do for humanity and themselves.

Read this somewhere, "To not put aside some time everyday to be with God (to say that you're too busy for God) would be like God saying that He's so busy with cosmic creation that he was didn't have the time to provide food, air, a shelter and whatnot for your living."

I sincerely believe when we pray we are never alone ;) ! We have a saying "God don't sleep" , I feel more comfort in believing this. Hugs to all Aces xo

I'm having surgery pray for me please :)

      Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

      Hey @WilsoInAus miałam dzisiaj wizytę u dermatologa, gdyż dostałam zmian w pachwinie, w trakcie wakacji nad morzem. Udałam sie tam ze zmianami w postaci strupów. Powiedział ze nie można wykluczyć opryszczki mimo negatywnego wyniku Hsv igg i zalecił wymaz z pochwy na Hsv i inne choroby. Wytłumaczyłam mu że zmiany zamieniają się w strup, ale nie ma w nich płynu, więc zalecił badanie śluzu pochwy na hsv PCR, zastanawiam się czy ma to sens, i czy wirusa można wykryć na podstawie tego badania w wydzielin z szyjki macicy. Z góry dziekuje za pomoc

      Never had a history of Oral cold sores before, but have dated someone with them.  Thats very interesting about the test. This was my first full panel.  The large bumps have recently show up, its been about a few weeks when I noticed them. Again no pain nor fluids from them.
