My natural remedy isn't working

Seems only anti virals work. I have not got any OB for the first year. Now j just had 4 minor ones in the last few months since August. I have been taking care of my immune system, taking lysine, vitamin b complex, vitamin c, zinc, olive leaf extract. Why am I getting Ob all of a sudden. I'm always stressed and emotionally stressed, I have been from the beginning and it was never a problem. My 4 OB have been different each time too and never a sore, i assume they were minor OB's.

Stress wears you down over time and sabotages your immune system - it may seem okay at first, but over time it starts to fail. This, together with poor nutrition, undermines your body's ability to fight off the virus.

I put lemon in my water, try to eat healthier. Cut out a lot of sugar. I don't know what else to do because my OB are so minor I think There is a way to eliminate them.

Sounds like it may well be HSV-1, that might be worthwhile confirming, but also tricky. The WB is definitely the best test to consider.

I take it you have never had oral cold sores?

Doc doc said it was. I have recently been getting mini out break, itchy red bump, a pimple. Doesn't even hurt. I assume it's H. Reverting back to anti virals for now as I am stressed

Yes your doctor can order you one and there Areca number of clinics in Toronto that do the testing, maybe someone here has experience with these clinics?

I can't go to Toronto just for a blood test. I can go to the states though. I'm trying to get the courage to call. I just don't think I can handle being told I have h2 again

I take exactly the same vitamins to support my immune system however I've been on anti virals as well as I'm hoping the the vitamins boost my immune system and then when/if I come off the antivirals my body will be ready to fight it off

Paul I don't feel the olive leaf is helping. What dosage do you take? I'm trying to stay away from anti virals but I'm so stressed right now I can't control it and need them

I've only just started literally the other day so I'm having just one capsule which is 750mg, from talking to someone else you swears by them they have 1500mg twice a day! What is the reason for not wanting to take antivirals?

I read that you can't overdose on the olive leaf extract as it's natural but to be honest I wouldn't want to take that much!! Are you based in the UK as you can get antivirals free from the clinic or from an online doctor £60 for 3 months , I understand about now wanting to take them for life but I'm hoping in the next few year something will come along to suppress the virus permanently :)

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
