Scared and very confused

About two weeks ago I started getting some vaginal discomfort didn't think anything of it till I got a pimple like thing kinda chalked it up to shaving but then the bump turned in to 5 random bumps at this point I was concerned at the beginning of the week they told me to come in today which is Friday so through out the week I started experiencing burning when I urinate some groin pain sore throat headache etc by today it has become very hard to pee I'm now in tears when I try.. So he checked my urine said it was normal checked for yeast and bv normal after looking and nearly crying from the sample taken on the rash that is already irrated from me rubbing it vigorously with baby wipes he said he was 75% sure it's herpes my questions are:

is this really happening to me??

all the herpes pics I've seen on google look more like clusters of blisters

i thought it was just sores why does it hurt so bad to pee why is my groin stomach and back hurt

 

i am literally shaking I'm scared I don't know what to do

Well...you can't be sure that it's herpes until your test comes back. Herpes can present in many different ways, not just a classic cluster of blisters. I only have redness...and yes, it can cause painful urination. Just try not to panic, it's gonna be okay either way, I promise:) Keep us posted on your results.

Thank you for your response this has been hard on me..I really didn't think it was a possibility until I got several bumps I have about 5 total and the burning when I peed.. I'm in quite a bit of pain and have to work in 5 1/2 hrs I'm not sure what to do.. The lower pain and peeing issue is hard to deal with consider I stand on my feet for 8 hrs any recommendations I tried a bath tonight with baking soda

Hi...sorry for this...I know how upsetting and painful it can be.  Before the point when I went to the doctor I was on so much pain hoping it would go away.  As for working in a few hours, start taking Advil or ibuprofen or Naproxen for the pain and continue every 4 hours.  Until you go to work, ice packs on the area can help alot.  I'm not sure what time it is where you are (we may be in different time zones), but if the stores are open, I found that polypsporin cooling gels help for the burning...but it will not heal.  Gold bond extra strength has medical benefits and has helped me alot....but does burn a bit.  Hope this helps and try and stay calm until you find out your results.  Best of luck.

Reading your story sounds almost  exactly what happened to me with my first outbreak, im sorry your in so much pain, if you have any coconut oil around the house try putting that on your sores, peppermint oil if you have any - I even used toothpaste on my first ob which took away pain but not for too long!  The leg pain is normal, I also had that, I gave my legs and feet a good rub and that seemed to help but again it's quite temporary,  painkillers probably the best bets, perhaps grab some sea salts for a bath to soak in after work - that should soothe aches and sores.

      Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.
