I tested positive for hsv2 and hsv1

my hsv1 was nearly 20 over the positive and the hsv2 was right on the positive level.

I have hsv2 oral and im unsure if i should get treated. I have a few questions

 

I had hsv1 for a few years on my genital, never oral.  I never noticed an outbreak.

was my hsv1 level  so high because i just contracted the hsv2 and that was my bodys way of treating it?

It i seek treatment will my natural tolerance go down?  my hsv2 syptoms are somewhat mild, should i get treatment.

what is treatment, how long do you take the pill and when do you stop?

The HSV-2 level sounds like a false positive, people with HSV-1 often have false positive HSV-2 readings.

What swabs have you had?

no swabs just anti body tests

i was under the impression that hsv1 is single cold sore and hsv2 was multiple

i have multiple hsv on my chin under my lip

No, they can both cause multiple lesions. I'd say you have an oral HSV-1 infection.

Now for genital, what issues are you having there?

i had one outbreak on my genital and thats about it.  I guess because my genital isnt exposed to sun food etc. its not as bad.

also i never had a blister that had puss it was just a swollen bump that went away?  why is that

I wouild guess that you do not have genital herpes. It is very unlikely to get a genital HSV-1 with an established oral infection. Further I doubt your HSV-2 is a true positive. This all suggests you had a bump and nothing more.
