Someone Advice!! Going crazy!

Have been having symptoms for four months. Doctors keep telling me it's fungal. Symptoms- had a sore spot that went away within a week or so as well as left leg pain. and have had groin and genital rash on penis and scrotum which is quite itchy for the past two months steady. Saw five doctors initially who did not think it was herpes. When it came back over the past couple months I have since seen three doctors who said it was definitely not herpes. Cream is not working though so I don't know what to do it has been persisting now for almost two months. I live in Canada so they have denied me blood tests and told me repeatedly to move on. Does this sound like herpes?

please help!!

There's no way anyone can give you a positive diagnosis on here. A persistent rash sounds more like dermatitis of some sort. What cream are you using and how is your diet/nutrition otherwise?

  • 2 weeks later...

I need an opinion please guys. I have been consistently denied a blood test for hsv and doctors have told me to move on and let it go. I think I went in to the doctors too late as my sore was almost gone but I still had an extensive groin rash and leg pain. It's now over four months after this incident.

I live in Canada and have considered going to neighbouring provinces for a test and they can't help me there either. Both the province I'm in and the next one over say they only do swabs.  I am going to the US on business in two weeks times and will only be there for three days but already called and can pay for a test at planned parenthood. Should I do that? Unfortunately I will have to get the results over the phone when I'm back in Canada so I worry about being in a false positive range for instance as I won't be able to re test or anything. Should I do it? The past several months I've been severely depressed and consumed with thoughts of herpes.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
