I saw a post that said "Only HSV1"

So to be inclusive, I made a post for Only HSV2 (but if you reeeeaaally want in, HSV1ers, you are welcome too! :) )

Admit it, we throw the best parties - we might be the second strain, but we've got twice the game! xD

So HSV2ers, what's up??? :D

I've had type II for 6 months. No OB's since my first. The virus has had no effect on me physically. But emotionally? Oh boy!! I've gotten past the "Ill be alone forever now" stage and I'm happy with myself... Somewhat. Dating for me is on the back burner for now. If I ever develop feelings for another girl, I'll weigh up wether I disclose or not. To be honest, I couldn't sleep with someone non positive. Wether they accept the risk or not. I couldn't live with myself as the emotional scaring is still there.

Hey Clunk, thanks for sharing :)

I hear you loud and clear. I had that same attitude for the first year. I have my days where I flip back and forth, however after two years I'm beginning to get tired of feeling afraid of myself, lol...I haven't dated yet, but I don't like the idea of limiting myself to only HSV+ folks, mainly because it doesn't seem fair (especially when you consider all the other things people could carry and NOT disclose - usually out of ignorance).

Just wanted to put that out there, because the way I see it - if you give it another 6 months, and another year, you will probably feel a little less strongly about herpes. That's a good thing! :) Helps you put herpes where it actually belongs on the list of priorities (the lower, the better). Emotions are all in your head, after all.

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.

Never had a history of Oral cold sores before, but have dated someone with them.  Thats very interesting about the test. This was my first full panel.  The large bumps have recently show up, its been about a few weeks when I noticed them. Again no pain nor fluids from them.
