I had a risky exposure with a CSW.Both oral and vaginal are condom protected. Now I am in 24 th week.After 45 days I had a burning sensation in my penis.  On my 55 th day I saw a rash on my glans and it only there for one hour.
I tested did a Elisa at 11 th week.Negative for both Hsv 1 & 2.
Again I repeat the Elisa at 15 th week.Negative for both 1 & 2.

I am having a burning sensation in my penis, thights and buttock.
some time I get a rash on my penis top and it dissapears after one hour. This happened twice .
Again i tested negative for both Hsv 1&2 at 22nd week.
1)is this sound like Hsv 1?
2)Do I need to do a western blot?

Hey Marz, welcome to our family . Did you ask to be tested for other STD or diseases? I'm a female but men can get many things we ladies get. Look at your test and see if they tested for other things. Herpes rashes do NOT disappear overnight. I've had anus and vaginal herpes and mine lasted 4 months long with tons of bumps, turned into blisters and then popped and became sores but also got infected severely. I took antivirals, antibiotics and fungal medications for quite a while before each problem cleared. I was extremely raw for months and none of those problems disappeared overnight. Hugs Aces xo

First off let just say there are many things that have similar symptoms as the herpes simplex virus. If I were you and at 4 1/2 months (22 week) I would NOT spend the nearly $200.00 plus refrigerated shipping on a Western Blot, but that's just me. Again you could have skin eczema, bacterial vaginosis, yeast or hpv or  other fungal infections, you could also have another STD. Did you get a copy of your test? I get copies of all my blood test each time they draw BLOOD, I say don't forget I want to pick up hard copy for my home files, they do it freely but you have to ask for copies. Get your test copies and let us know exactly what test was used and what they tested you for. Keep us posted. Hugs Aces xo

I agree with Ace.

Negative tests at 15 and 22 weeks are conclusive that you aren't a Herpster.  Sorry.

As for your symptoms, there are a lot of things that can cause them and a doctor would be really the only person who could help figure out their cause.

Good luck!

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
