hsv can lay dormat for many years before it makes an appearance, some people have it and never get any ob or symptoms of the virus. Were you igm or igg tested? What were your results?

Yep your positive, sure you already know that lol- it isn't so bad, you can still live your life like you did before your results. Lucky for you, you don't break out yet! Could possibly be a carrier from when you were a child, have you a bf\gf? Why exactly did you feel the need to be tested for hsv? Was there a reason?

I've been having problems with my birth control so I got a series of tests ran. I don't currently have a Bf ..don't had time for one at the moment so I'm not even entirely sure the source.

most likely you came into contact with the virus as a child, hsv1 isn't soo bad, majority of people get cold sores anyway. Don't beat yourself up about it, if someday you do happen to have a ob there manageable. Your general health and diet plays a big part too, youl be fine :) count your blessings you don't break out genitally

Thank you. Is there any foods that are more likely to cause an ob? Also do you know how likely you are to pass it if you're not having an ob? I read you can pass it from drink sharing and I have a son who is younger and Is a complete momas boy.

it can vary from person to person, just have a healthy diet, meats veg the good foods. You can take vitamins and lysine too to prevent bo. Keep a lip balm or cold sore cream in your bag for an incase emergency :) I'm not too sure on transmitting as I'm genital, but apparently you don't have to have a OB to pass. Not 100%. No you cant pass it by sharing cups or towles or anything like that. It can only be passed by direct contact like a kiss. So be careful your not having an ob and just unaware of it. I too have a kid she's 6 and I'm terrified too.

That's my biggest fear... Passing it to him without realizing it. He tends to grab my drink when I'm not looking so that's what I was scared of and kissing him on the cheek and stuff.

no youl be ok, the virus supposibly dies when it leaves skin, so cups cutlery towels etc are all ok to share. It's skin to skin contact. Just try kissing his cheeks or forehead for the time being and maybe have a talk with your doctor, try not read up about it too much, the internet is full of crap and youl drive yourself crazy lol trust me! Try not stress either, stress is the biggest cause of obs or when your under the weather

Hi guys, My name is Shelly. I'm 25 years old! I've had Herpes for 5 going on 6 years now. I'm just here hoping to learn more ways to deal with the situation and meet new people who actually know what I'm going through!  Thank you for reading! 💕

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.
