Hello hi, I'm new! Also, I'm meeting someone tomorrow and I don't know how to tell him....

Hello there nice people! Maybe you can give me some advice, based on your knowledge and experience?

Tomorrow I am meeting a handsome, wonderful man I think I'm in love with. We found each other on a dating website and have been talking every day and on Skype for hours for a month. He is going to drive 6 hours to come meet me in person tomorrow, and I am terrified, because I don't know how to tell him I have HSV 2. There is no question that I WILL tell him, I am just freaking out over here. I could ostensibly still tell him tonight on Skype, but I think it would be better in person. I am also scared I would blurt it out in the wrong way on Skype and he'd decide not to drive here after all. I mean, we connect so well mentally and emotionally, and we have the same sense of humor, so it's not like he is just coming here to have sex. I have read, however, that it is best not to talk about sexual medical history when in the heat of the moment, and that when you tell someone you carry the herpes virus you need to give them time to research and decide. I would be fine giving him whatever time and space he needs; I just don't want to go about this the wrong way and risk losing someone I really care about.

With sincere gratitude for your acceptance and support,

NoMeGusta

Its all in how you tell him not so much as important as what you say but how you say it. Let us know how it goes. Hugs Aces xo

Okay, so he's driving over for 6 hours and it's not for sex... so there's no rush to tell him, right? Do you know anything about his sexual health and history? Maybe that's something that both of you can discuss when the circumstances are such that something intimate is likely going to happen. Maybe you might want to learn more about him first? Such as his views on STIs, not just limited to but definitely including  HSV. What is his status and what is his attitude towards it?

My advice: take a step back mentally, take a deep breath... you've met this guy on a dating website and chatted with him on Skype... for a month. It sounds to me like you desperately want to love somebody (right now you're infatuated with him because so far all his bells and whistles are catching your attention), but be cautious because you don't know him as well as you think you do. Take your time - make sure he's really right mentally.

I met a guy on a Dating website and went out for a date. We kind of liked each other and he started to tell me about his life and his separation with ex wife sincerely.  So I decided that I would tell him about H before we continued further on the relationship because I thought I would be hurt more if I liked him more and he rejected me. So I did tell him on a phone a night after a first date. He has gone quiet for about a day and came back to me and saying that we thought he liked me as who I was and that was a thing we should sit and talk before we decide to go intimacy.  Our relationship last about 10 months and he did not get infected. I broke up with him not because of H too.

You can do it.  If he knows and decide to go left or right ... At least you know from the beginning of he is the one for you or not and you will feel good. Good Luck !!!

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.
