bleeding with Acyclovir?

Has anyone experienced heavy vaginal bleeding after starting Acyclovir? I did the ten-day, twice a day course of Valtrex a few months ago and it did nothing for me. I'm still experiencing symptoms everyday so I just started Acyclovir twice a day for suppressive treatment. I took my first pill yesterday and had heavy vaginal bleeding for a while. I continued the meds and the bleeding started up again and got even worse today. I'm going to talk to my doctor and probably stop the meds, but I'm wondering if this is normal? Is this something that goes away once your body is used to the drug? I'm so sick of having severe symptoms everyday, but Valtrex didn't help me and I don't want to keep taking something that could do more harm than good.

(And I know for a fact that this is not related to my period, sex, or an injury of any kind)

..I took Valtrex over a year ago for 6 weeks  and also 150 mg aspirin daily as before...

I suddenly saw blood in my stool...I stopped taking aspirin and 2 weeks later after I got dizzy and also had erections that would be too hard all night long for like 3 days in a row.  I stopped Valtrex. (The erections could be caused by something wrong with the red blood cells.) Things went back to normal  and  my intestine was tested to be fine 3 months later..

In some individuals it seems to mess with the blood cells- I read this was only reported for people with HIV taking heavy doses..and they can develop  severe issues with their bone marrow.

This scared me too much.

Jeez...I just don't understand because I've taken Valtrex, and though it didn't help me, I didn't have any side effects. I'm HIV negative.

Have any women experienced bleeding/spotting with acyclovir?

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.

Never had a history of Oral cold sores before, but have dated someone with them.  Thats very interesting about the test. This was my first full panel.  The large bumps have recently show up, its been about a few weeks when I noticed them. Again no pain nor fluids from them.
