I guess I've been through a lot

Recommended Posts

For some reason, I didn't even bat an eyelash when the nurse said I tested positive on Tuesday. I just, I just didn't care. I mean, I do care as far as transmitting the virus to someone else, but I don't care as far as I'm concerned. I mean, I've had no outbreaks so it's just something that lives in my head as far as my life's concerned. But okay, there's two girls in my life. One has herpes who I may have gotten it from, the other just tested negative. You'd think I'd be mad at the girl who has herpes. I'm not. She told me as soon as her gyno told her the bad news. The other one wants to wait until marriage. Well, well, well. I certainly have a reason now for that. She also said she could overlook herpes. But can she? She doesn't think I have it, she did however think she had it, so maybe that was her reassuring herself. I guess we'll see. In the meantime, I'll retest in 3 weeks. My IgG levels were 1.37 which I figure will be much higher on the next IgG test and if it's the same, there's a decent chance I don't have it. I'm out of state for the month, luckily away from both girls while I process. Meantime, I'm taking L-lysine and crossing my fingers on the next test. But really, couldn't it be worse? Ever had scabies? I have. It sucks. Ever broken a bone and needed surgery? I have, it really sucks. I've had stitches 3 separate times in my face/head. I've had my heart broken. I'm broke. But then there's life and all the possibilities that come with it, so fuck the pain.

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.
