My name Is michelle and I just found out I have herpes...I wanted to know what you ladies or men do to help deal with oral simulation. Are there things you do different or stay away for oral in general

I'm not following your question. Are you asking whether those affected by genital herpes do anything different (or abstain) when receiving oral stimulation?

It depends what type you have. 

I have genital HSV-2, and  the risk of passing this to the mouth is extremely minor (so the research says). HSV-2 loves the genital region and is slightly different to HSV-1 which can be either oral or genital. To clarify, im not saying Oral HSV-2 isnt possible, but its almost undocumented, I've never seen anyone on here with Oral HSV-2.

Sorry to get back to my point, if you have Genital HSV-2, I'd say with confidence you can still enjoy receiving oral sex. If you are paranoid then you could use a dental dam, but i'd say dont be worried unless you have either genital or oral HSV-1

Hello,

I have ghsv1 and my bf gives me unprotected oral sex and he has yet to contract it. Avoid receiving it if you have an ob and disclose to the person. As lexy said you can always use a dental dam.
