A step closer to acceptance?

Recommended Posts

I don't know if anyone other than me will see this as a big deal. I've had so many thoughts racing through my head here lately. Part of me wants to run and hide from it, scream its not true and REFUSE to accept this virus. The other part wants to find the highest point of the nearest city and scream to the world, that I have herpes and ya know what, it's ok!

I finally settled with telling a family member, I hear this helps you cope. Then I decided that i will come to this forum for support, but I will not hide who I am. I uploaded a picture.. So everyone can see, that even with this.. I am still me. So..

Hello, everyone. My name is Trisha, I prefer to be called Grace. I am 25 very quickly going on 26.. And I will be okay with this diagnosis, but in my own time and in my own way.

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
