Hello I just signed up, and already this site has me feeling a little better. I have HSV1, and currently waiting for my 12 week mark, to test for HSV2. I first got tested in 2013 is HSV came back positive and hsv2 negative. Tested again in Sept 2015 and same results. Started have symptoms Dec 6, after dry humping with a guy fully clothed Dec 5. He did touch me down there with his finger and it was so quick. Take it my last sexual act was in early Aug 2015. I went and got tested Jan 2 of this year, same results hsv1 positive n hsv2 negative. I have been a wreck since that night because of the symptoms brought about after that encouter. Gotta wait my 12 week mark to get tested again and oh boy I'm an emotional wreck. Sorry for the long post. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

Our brains are remarkable in the way they support us or tear us apart with fear. I posted about an incident a couple days ago where I convinced myself I had spread my HSV2 to my lips. I have been reading how upset people are over HSV1, obviously because it is on their face. I had all the expected symptoms and the more I thought about it the more symptoms I had. Did what I could with what I had. Woke up the next morning everything was fine no symptoms and remembered I ate an acid meal and that would explain the lip!!!

You can be proactive with simple Epsom salt baths with antiviral essential oils such as Lavender, Myrhh and Lemon Balm. You may have contracted a bacterial infection! Look around on this site and you will see a wealth of information and remedies people have had success with. This will empower you and that will remove the fear. Knowledge is your strongest ally!!!

My anus started itching the next night, looked in the mirror and I seen two spots one was big and the other was small, where my skin had come off. No bumps, puss or it didn't hurt. I had diarreah that morning. Got an headache Monday and started to feel sick, not sure if it was a mental thing becuase all I could think was herpes. My skin healed in like three days, I had back and buttocks pain but I had back surgery so I wasn't for sure if that was from bending over constantly looking at my butt. I still itch in between my butt crack but no lesions or pimples. Any ideas? Thanks

Sounds silly but perhaps a diaper rash cream that contains Calendula will help? I would still recommend the Epsom Salts bath and Essential Oils.  Real Lavender EO (not synthetic) alone in bath salts will be great and that can be found most places. Maybe a high Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil on the area. It contains Oleuropein, that stops virus replication. You could put a couple drops Lavender EO in the olive oil, please look up drops of EO's to carrier oil ratios. Please note it is never recommended to apply essential oils in mucous areas so do a bit of research to see what you are comfortable with. I am not a professional, I treat myself under Naturopathic supervision and do a lot of research.

Just another set of supporting articles to a potential release date in 2024 giving hope to sufferers whom the standard of care is currently worthless: Promising Progress in clinical trials for Pritelivir (herpescureadvocacy.com) HSV Treatment Readies for Approval — Precision Vaccinations News

I have not found a cheaper source for Amenalief, and I've searched high and low. I have a thread called "Pritelivir at Last" you may want to follow as I have a strong belief that It may be available to the public in the summer of 2024 and as I find new info, I update the thread immediately. Now, may I suggest a combination of drugs that several others on this forum have found to be very effective over acyclovir alone? Myself and others have found that taking 40mg of omeprazole (Tagamet @dissolvedo2 ) with 1 gram of Valacyclovir in the morning and 1 gram of Valacyclovir in the evening alone for 3 days have had profound effectiveness at stopping outbreaks in their tracks. I'd like to remind you that I am not a doctor and at best I am personal researcher for what works for me. I @lw@ys share my findings with the forum in the hopes to help others alleviate their suffering. There is another drug combo that I have tried myself as well as others on this forum have tried and that I personally feel is a much more effective for myself. This combo is 1 gram of activated charcoal with 1-gram of valacyclovir in the morning followed by 1 gram of valacyclovir in the evening alone, again for 3 days. I have found that this has reduced my outbreaks to almost only once a year and they are mild at worse. Again, just a reminder that this works for me and may not work for you but I always feel that i have to share this with anyone that cannot get this virus under control so I hope my findings can help those of you who cannot achieve relief with the standard treatment alone. The stronger anti-virals come with risks and if I can help anyone avoid those risks then by all means I feel I have done some good in this world. I only ask that you let me know if either of these suggestions work for you so that I can document it in my notes. Good luck my friend!

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti
