Will Neuralgia, pains in legs and pins and needles go away?

I am currently having my first outbreak. I have no sores or lesions just unrelenting pain in my buttocks, pins and needles in legs, sweaty feet, and numbness in my arms at night. The worst thing is the pain.  This has been non-stop for five weeks. Can someone please get back to me, if this has happened to them? Will it end? Would like to hear people's experiences. thanks

Yeah, hsv is a nerve affliction so if you have some vulnerability in your body then it'll show.

Check out a chinese med doc/acupuncturist who has an herbal medicine practice.  They'll really be able to help you with what you're experiencing.

Hello all I still have pain and tingling in legs. I recently had bulging disc surgery and I am actually worse. All of the Doctors I've seen say no relation to HSV. Going for another epidural injection, I am currently on 1 gram Valtrex daily to suppress a breakout from the injection. I've had nothing but bad luck with steroids.

@ssloviestop taking the antivirals, you have an oral HSV-1 infection that has nothing to do with your lower back issues. This is a terrible situation that looks like a degenerative back condition. What was the outcome of a full chiropractic assessment?
