Hi everyone!

i'm new here.. i was just diagnosed with genital HSV2 last year Nov2015.. its been two months that i didnt have any outbreak.. sometimes, it makes me anxious if i'm going to have an OB anytime soon.. this is depressing..  i still cried sometimes knowing that i'll be having this forever.. this changes my life big time.. and right now, i'm still feeling guilty of what had happened.. i wish i could turn back time.. but i already have it and all i can do right now is to deal with it and have faith that it will get better and that someone will love and accept me even if i have this skin infection.. i'm keeping my faith..

I feel you twinkle. Pray has help me a lot in coping with this. Try use a natural oil like coconut oil on the area, it helps a lot. And vit C everyday. We all here to support you.

Hello Twinkle27 and sorry to say Welcome to this but know you have found a great place for support and understanding. I am relatively new here, but a lifetime of experience with this virus, and am so impressed with the amount of knowledge and compassion offered to others. There are those of us who go the Holistic approach and others share experience with Allopathic medicines. Find your comfort zone. If you look around and go back into old threads you will see many ways to offer physical and mental assistance based on what you are comfortable with. There is a wealth of experience here and you will see this virus manifests itself differently in each and every one of us so remember you only need to treat yourself and your symptoms!

Obsession and self loathing over this is one of the worst things so arm yourself with fact based knowledge around the virus and how to treat it and you. This is going to be a lifelong journey of learning that could ultimately lead you to better health and the ability to learn to fight back at what life Will throw at you. Like it or not, no one gets a free pass in life even if "the grass looks greener on the other side" you have no idea what is under the grass!!!!

You will find Love and Acceptance, never doubt that! Nice start finding us!!!!

I can't really get behind your statement of believing this is "a harmless virus" as you say it has already affected your attitude towards life. This is a virus that needs to be respected and dealt with in your individual way. I truly hope you are one of the lucky ones who never gets another outbreak but still educate yourself about viral shedding possibilities that may affect others. It does manifest itself differently in each individual so your symptoms may not be typical for others.

It is Not a big deal when you are aware of its affects on you and especially how to protect others. Lack of knowledge is why we are all here!!!! Don't dwell on experiences of others beyond what they use to help themselves as it may be of help to you if you need it. Try to understand the Science behind it. This is all so very new to you there is no true way to know how this will develop in the future. You can still be in control of this.

None of this is meant in a negative way, just don't put on blinders because you may be lucky to be asymptomatic and think this is where it ends. Faith is a blessing and gives strength when needed most. Blind faith can be dangerous.

Truly, you will still live a normal healthy sexual life, you will just be more educated about this than others. That is a positive!

Hi guys, My name is Shelly. I'm 25 years old! I've had Herpes for 5 going on 6 years now. I'm just here hoping to learn more ways to deal with the situation and meet new people who actually know what I'm going through!  Thank you for reading! 💕

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.
