You can NOT wear a condom too :) ! We didn't wear condom and wanted many babies, we were blessed with one surviving birth. If she wants babies, do you too plan to marry? I really believe children are a blessing and deserve BOTH mother and father. Good luck honey. Aces xo

You can even take the condom off without spreading hsv2 to your girl.  Yes, there will be a risk of transmission but since you are on daily antivirals the risk is quite small.  I have have dated around a dozen women since I became a Herpster and almost all the sex I have had over the years has been unprotected (their choice) and have never passed it along.  I have met plenty of married people who do not use condoms and have never spread it to their partner.

Good luck!

I never used to get any tingling the first year of diagnosis, since then, especially the last 6 months i get crazy tingling / neuralgia around my penis and anus. If anything this aspect has gotten worse while the blisters have decreased.

Most of the married couples I have met here were not on antivirals.  They knew the signs of a potential outbreak and avoided contact during those times.

The longer you have this virus the less you are contagious.

You are most contagious your first 6 months so you are past that.  Take your antivirals and I bet you never pass it to your girl even if you do not use condoms.

Does she have a friend for me? :D

Terrell, we've been into each other since we married and it was my 35th birthday my husband said he needed to start his vitamins to keep up. :)  His quote is I'm more wife than he can handle and when I'm ill, we cuddle and comfort each other. That's what married people do for each other. I'm Spanish and he says very spicy, but there are times we take it slower than we'd prefer but we always have ways to show the other how much they mean to us :P . Being a sexually driven person is awesome and you two can make this work. Hugs Aces xo

Hi @Anxious 1234 Did you get diagnosis for this?
    • Damian
Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Well thank you I appreciate it

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
