Goat Colostrum - Trying out with some really interesting effects

So, a while ago I bought some bovine colostrum.  Thought I'd give it a try and it just gave me some GI issues and I feel like it made things a little worse...   But no biggie, it wasn't that pricey.   I thought, huh, I wonder if they have goat colostrum.  I found it but decided not to buy it because it is a bit more expensive ($35 for a bottle of CapraColostrum).   Well, now that a few months have passed, I've decided to give it a go.  Got some in the mail and took 1 pill (they rec 3 pills 2x a day; or 2 pills 3x a day).

I took 1 and an hour later I got a bit tired.   The tiredness reminds me of the feeling I'd get taking some adaptogenic herb if I were run down.  Most adaptogens have hormone precursors that help fill in the physiological-endocrine deficits in the body.   The thing is healing occurs when we're in parasympathetic state (rest and digest) rather than sympathetic (you looking at this computer screen, processing and whatnot; or fight or flight).  So I napped and felt fantastic when I awoke.   and I noticed something crazy, sensations down in my loins were much less.  And my face... My face feels so much better.    Typically, I have tingling and I still do.  But it just feels better.   I know the colostrum has a bunch of growth factors, immune regulators, whatever types of hormones for growth and development so I can understand it helping.  But wow... this is tremendous.   And usually goat products are more easily assimilated by humans compared to bovine.

Anyhow, thought I'd share the latest thing I'm trying.  I think for anyone dealing with chronic nerve issues that this would be a worthwhile thing to try.

OOOOOO thank you for this. I am seeing my Naturopath this week and he will be testing me with Latcoferrin, after what I have been reading about that for HSV.       I see that is a component of colostrum so I will ask him to test me on that too as I see the benefits are wide spread. Your research has given me a direction I am happy to take.

Thank you for your lovely analytical mind and sharing with us. Doctors must take care of everyone and everything, we only need to know how to care for ourselves!

Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.
