First Time Disclosing

So, I have been talking to this guy I met online and he wants to meet up soon. I have never had to disclose yet, and I want some opinions on how and when to disclose. He lives an hour away, so I was thinking of telling him before he drives all the way here, if he isn't cool with it. I could also wait until I meet him and tell him. I am just very nervous and I don't want this to ruin anything because I really like this guy.

When I meet a guy I take the time to get to know him. I try to meet the real person by taking My time. I might not like them after a couple dates so why would I put myself through unnecessary stress about something that may not happen? If they are the right person for me they will accept me and my baggage. Everyone comes with baggage on this planet, that is why we are here, to live and learn.

I believe you have gHSV1 so that means you can suck face all night long. Do you remember how nice that was when you were younger? The thrill of meeting and getting to know someone for who they are not just a body to share yours with. Not that I am saying there is anything wrong with that either!!!!

I have had 3 long term relationships with my HSV2. Apparently I am so adorable after they have gotten to know me for 3 mths they could not walk away. Even better, I knew as much as I could about my infection and how it works on me. I learned how to protect them as much as anyone could. Everyone takes a chance with the person they are with. Turns out 2 had cold sores in their past they never thought to tell me about and I never thought to ask because I was concerned about my affect on them but they never offered me the same considerate option. I have never had a cold sore and still don't, but I digress.

I am much older now and not dating but that has nothing to do with HSV. If I was lucky enough to meet a man who does not lie or is not married I would try again. Obviously I have a sense of humour!!!

You are still the same person!!!!! I use my knowledge about this virus to give me confidence about it instead of it ruling my life. Apparently I enjoy a challenge too!

See, Adorable!

Hmmm, good question.  I say meet him first and go on a date.  After you spend the day together, then you decide if you want to pursue the relationship.  If you do, I think the time to tell will become clear on its own.

I agree get to know him better and go on date's see if he is right for you before you disclose.

I told my bf after 3mos no sex involved and boy it wasn't easy the no sex and the "talk" but in the end I realized he love me all of me.

So wait and see..

Hi guys, My name is Shelly. I'm 25 years old! I've had Herpes for 5 going on 6 years now. I'm just here hoping to learn more ways to deal with the situation and meet new people who actually know what I'm going through!  Thank you for reading! 💕

Hey @Zrozpaczona9 that looks like folliculitis to me, that’s independent of the question of herpes. The doctor is wrong in the sense that a negative IgG test is beyond reasonable doubt that you do not have herpes. It is a small percentage of people for which a false negative occurs. The doctor is right to take a swab to increase your confidence that there’s no herpes present. I’m sure you’ll have your result soon.

In this forum we will discuss does lume work Lume is paraben-free and uses several natural ingredients like Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tapioca starch, and Maranta arundinacea root powder (also known as arrowroot powder) to control odor and sweat. One of the key Lume deodorant ingredients is mandelic acid, an AHA found in skin care products, which also has an antibacterial effect.

Ibuprofen medicine is a painkiller. Can you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach  Some people take medicine empty stomach which is not good for our health. Because painkiller kind of medicine is very strong and can harm your liver. Medicine makes many strong ingredients. like Lactose, corn starch, hypromellose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and carnauba wax.
