How common are symptoms? If you've never had herpes before is a primary outbreak definite? I think I was exposed to herpes during unprotected sex. It's been about a month a half now and no symptoms. I had buring near my gential area and on the tip of my penis but I was diagnosed with Chlamydia. I haven't had another other symptoms of herpes except pain in legs and foot. Is that a symptom? Also, I had this weird pimple on my arm that didn't hurt but itched and looked like a fever blister. My herpes test at 7 weeks was negative. (Blood test.) Can someone give me their feedback? :shock: Check for ocular herpes in the mirror. LoL.

I'm not a doctor, but I don't think any of the symptoms you described would be attributable to HSV.

I wouldn't worry about HSV at this point (any more then any sexually active single person should..

...but I would take advantage of the opportunity to use your 'scare' as a motivator to be more cautious.

Getting chlamydia should be a wake up call.

      Hi @WhatDidIDo2023, hopefully all is well with you and your significant other and are still together.   Did she develop any other symptoms after you mentioned her getting itchiness? Was it determined what you had was contagious? Most likely developed a fungal disease and caused her a yeast or uti

      Been a few weeks it went away but reappeared again tiny red marks not raised spots or anything no pain or itching ,I have had all negative tests on Sti's ..

      Hi @Luna 01 I really feel it is worthwhile obtaining a proper Herpeselect test given the outcomes of the home panel test. Regardless, your current symptoms are almost certainly not related to herpes. Hopefully, your doctor can assist in resolving these.

      I did notice they stoped selling the one I bought it was a 7 panel test for 7 std but now they got the 6 panel and hsv is not on it but they do collect blood and pee and you send in to a laboratory
