Hi, I was wondering if somebody could please tell me if it is possible to develop shingles from being infected with the HSV-2 virus? And how is this virus related?
Thanks

I wonder if you're more inclined to get shingles if you have HV2.

I'm thinking about getting vaccinated for it because I heard they have a new vaccine for shingles that doesn't cause you to get shingles like it was doing in some cases.

I got it when I was 39 - very bad outbreak (luckily) on my back so no one ever saw it - but I took a week off work.

I just got the SHINGRIX vaccine (1st shot) - so recommend anyone to get it (consult your physician)
