Sex on Monday, outbreak on Wednesday?

Me and my bf had unprotected sex this Monday night. I had been stressing a lot about school and work Tuesday and Wednesday, I started feeling some tingling in my legs & burning sensation in that area (those are usually my sign of an outbreak coming) Wednesday night and noticed a sore on my butt (my sores usual spot) Wednesday night. I'm worried that I may have been shedding Monday night, but I may be psyching myself out by all this over thinking.

sidenote: I am on antivirals 800 mg/day

I've on,y had sex once since I got H and it caused a bad OB for me. Why I'm telling you this is because I had sex on a Sunday and the OB/nerve pain didn't start until Tuesday night. So I think you should be ok! The OB was probably caused by the sex.

As SnowAngel mentioned, the friction from sex causes microtears in the skin, which can cause an ob to pop up. Stress also can cause an ob to pop up. Since you weren't having symptoms prior to sex, I wouldn't be too concerned. It may be helpful to use more lube in the future to prevent some of that friction.

I had sex last week and got an outbreak the day after. Usually I'm sore after sex but the soreness turned into an OB but I'm on daily antivirus too so it want away in a couple days.
