Do some people just get better?

Do some people's bodies ever just decide to handle the virus better? I'm six months in and on daily Valtrex will my body eventually get used to all of this?

The first year is the worst for most. If you're doing well on antivirals (no outbreaks, no symptoms) and you're taking antivirals only for preventing outbreaks, then try weaning yourself off when you're ready to test your immune system.

Certain lifestyle choices make it harder or easier for your body to deal with the virus. Most people do not have optimal lifestyle or nutrition patterns.

Understand how the virus works and you will see how to best manage it.  There are people who respond without any issues.  I know some people who do all the right things and still get outbreaks and there are other people who do what they like and don't get any outbreaks.  it is just your own bodies response and there are people who don't have outbreaks for years and then suddenly bang they get a lot of outbreaks.  @VVK says its lifestyle choices and other factors such as stress, hormonal, diet.  Have you actually tried to pinpoint your triggers because that is one step that you might want to take to determine what is causing your outbreaks
