Unusual Symptoms Females Please Help

Hey all,

Wondering if there are any ladies out there who have found it permanently painful to have sex due to inflammation of the cervix. How about discharge that doesn't go away?

These are some of my worst fears lately and they have been really vexing me, despite telling myself its going to get better. I'm worried about future relationships, my ability to have sex, etc.

I got past the original complications of burning and itching that I got when I first got diagnosed about 6 months ago. I thought THAT would never go away but to my supreme relief it did. I never had any of the classic skin outbreak symptoms  but I did experience increased discharge which never left and is driving me crazy.. I've also had issues with abdominal pressure and menstrual like cramps.

They have gotten worse this past month. I went to several gynocologists to see about potential herpes-related cervicitis. One looked and said she saw no outbreaks or signs of inflammation, but did see a spot of irritation on the endothelium on my cervix that could have caused some brownish discharge which has happened a couple times to me since being diagnosed (spotting?). She said this was "normal" but not so sure I trust this definition from doctors these days. The other gyno said my cervix looked like one of someone who has been on birth control. I don't know what this means. I should have asked. She placed me on antifungal for yeast (even though I didn't have yeast in the test, she said the tests don't always work) and also birth control, in case hormones could correct the problem (seems counterintuitive but I'm willing to try anything).

Well, the cramps have just started getting worse and it even hurts when I move around. The discharge is getting worse now too. The gynos assured me it was okay to have sex, and I have before with my longterm bf since I've gotten this virus with no complications. But this time around it was painful! And the pain throbbed even afterwards. Now I'm also having blood tainted discharge again. It feels like I should just be having my period, but maybe the hormones are stopping it.

So, for any ladies that have had cervicitis related complications, does this sound at all familiar? Did it eventually clear for any of you? Was there anything you found that helped? I am going to quit the birth control as soon as this packs up since it could be irritating the problem. But the problem still remains. I'm really hoping it corrects itself naturally like the original skin complications did but I'm worried about internal chronic damage and imbalance.

Thanks everyone for your help

Yes, but every married person who I found out about that has this waited 6-8 months into the relationship to disclose it. But maybe you're right. If I had told her 6-7 months in, she'd still have Googled it and flipped out, and maybe it would have been harder then. I don't know. I don't see myself going through this level of pain and rejection so easily next time. I really don't. I'm taking the meds. I use protection. It's been almost a decade since I've had it so I'm not worried about shedding or passing it on so easily. British studies confirm that the first 2 years are the most contagious and we're passed that. I'm just over this. I've never been in so much emotional pain in my life.

Is this herpes? I can’t find any pics that match this exactly and my symptoms don’t really match. I don’t have really any of the typical herpes symptoms other than pictured, so I figured it could be friction as I have recently been having a lot of sex with a new partner. Way more than normal. Started having unprotected sex about 3 - 4 weeks ago. These symptoms only started about 3-4 days ago. Felt burning in some areas and only some very few tiny red areas/spots appeared. Almost shiny in appearance. Seems to settle very quickly. They were only present for a day or so. Also had some very mild irritation after I pee but not during. This spot has 2 small red lumps that are now dry around the outside. It’s like it’s been rubbed off and the skin is dry and shiny underneath. It doesn’t seem to be lesion. There was no puss or any leakage, nor was the skin ever red under them. They also got better within a day or so. I still have red spots around but they are very small and not bunched together and some general discomfort but I feel it’s because I’ve touched it so much! Stressing a bit!  my research tells me friction burn/blister , Fungal ,herpes a bit of it all! I have no idea! Please help! Thanks in advance.

@EssenceL25 there really isn't a question mark around the source, it's your latest partner. The median time from infection to an outbreak of lesions upon initial infection is 4 days.  The only thing that isn't certain is the type I suggest.
