Still waiting

I'm still waiting for my test results. I've felt depressed and just want to cry all the time. I feel disgusted and why would he want to stay with me if it is in fact herpes? Would anyone ever love me after finding this out? I'm 6 weeks pregnant also. I knew I was pregnant before the outbreak so this just makes it so much worse. I was already stressing about the pregnancy now this. My boyfriend acts like everything is normal but I just lay in bed and cry and I don't want to do anything. Not even eat which sucks because the antivirals make me throw up. What does this mean for my sex life? What does this mean for my baby? I hate my life right now. Everything is going down hill. When it rains it pours.

I know that the unknown is scary and waiting is often the worst part... but try not to rush any thoughts beyond your current reality and whatever happens, you will be okay!!

I have HSV-2 and was diagnosed prior to meeting my husband. So.... I had to date, disclose, get pregnant and have babies... ALL with HSV-2. And you know what? It all turned out just fine and you will be fine too. You can have children without issues, an amazing sex life and anything else you desire. It just so happens that my husband remains HSV negative, but he accepts it and knows it's a possibility that he will acquire it. Once people understand more about HSV vs the risk of not having you in their life? Not even a debate.
