Had new infection. And swab. He had gone down on a girl i have now found out. He had a split in his lip and lied. He said it was dehydration. Wrong. If she had hsv2 and was active he transferred it to me. Hence oral and genital hsv2. Damn liar. Ugh

I think this has gone on long enough. HSV-2 is not at play here, there is nothing feasible in what is described. If you are serious about addressing your issues please consult with a doctor for appropriate diagnosis, testing and treatment.

Already did. Went Thursday to urgent care have swabs on face and had an o.b. She ordered it stat. It was positive. Sorry but you can transfer hsv2 orally to a host as site is active and I was the host. I will get the paper copy and message you when I see her I am on 800mg acyclovir daily these unfortunately are not zits. This is what happens when you eat too much sugar

Yes but there are many legitimate members here with whole body neuropathy. Halford brought it up before his stuff was taken down. This is not psychosomatic.

I have not seen any members who claim full body neuropathy. I have seen many, many posts referring to genital/buttock/thigh/lower extremity neuropathy and that makes sense for genital HSV induced neuropathic issues, and I have seen people talk about bells palsy type issues with oro facial HSV. I have never claimed that HSV neuropathy is not a thing, but I do believe we have members who suffer from other conditions in conjunction with HSV that are undiagnosed/untreated.

Depends on immune system. Were Tense’s facial lesions really HSV2 pos?

This as well as  bacterial infection. I am on avs daily have not had any more obs on my face. When you acquire it newly you have 4 months before it won't contaminate yourself. One of the blisters I had ruptured and now it in on my hand after touching my face. This shit has ruined my life. The burning and itch are insane. Sorry but some who think they are aware of what the virus can and cannot do as far as contaminate and transfer you are incorrect. Have now seen 4 specialist and 4 Drs. Plus an opthamologist. This disease has cost me over 1000 $meds Drs not including the 2 hospital stays. So for anyone to say this is just a skin issue try again! May be if you are lucky enough to have hsv1. I have both!

Yo te creo, aparte los brotes del hsv no todas son iguales en ocasiones parecen piquetes de mosquitos y en otras ocasiones aparecen en ramas llenas de líquido

@Tense I believe you, apart the hsv buds are not all the same at times they seem like mosquito bites and at other times they appear in branches full of liquid

Yes i totally agree. I read many years ago that once you have it, you are immune to transfer elsewhere. Only to have it ugly up my face and ruin my life recently. Not to mention my sinuses are ruined..constant runny nose and clogged sinuses. From a guy that used to be uber healthy like a 16 year old. Now i feel constantly sick almost everyday. Yes i take meds..dont help much at all if any.

Totally agree..this is not just a minor skin issue. It causes pain amongst other things. If you unknowingly touch a sore and touch your eye..then what? I hope that never happens to me.

I also believe that it may be asymptomatic for many, or very minor with nil side effects etc. But i believe that this virus attacks different people in different ways. In my case, it seems my immune system is trying to fight it 24/7, especially now that i have it orally. Like i said previously, i feel very unhealthy now with chronic sinus problems

As I understand it, if you take it several times it will be different each time.  Its the way the tests works.  Mine were back and forth within that range.  If I take it again  I could be higher or lower but I will be in the positive range.

That's interesting. When you say it was between those numbers, do you mean it climbed slowly, or went back and forth? I'm curious because I had a second test and it came back lower than the first one. It went from 1.60 to 1.21 after 7 weeks.

The numbers don't really mean much except whether positive or negative.  Ive had 4 tests within the last 18 months and all were between 1.3 and 1.6 for hsv1. Sometimes the low numbers can be false positive for hsv2 but false positives are less frequent on hsv1.  Im like you.  Im assuming I became positive in my early childhood as I've never had a breakout.  I do think your body gets better at managing the virus as you get older.  Ive even heard of some people seroconverting to a negative result on the test but they still have the virus.
