Herpes whole body rash?

Is it possible to get multiple lesions over the entire body (arms/legs/trunk) not just the genitals as a sign of primary genital herpes?  Has anyone else had these type of symptoms?  A generalized itchy rash without fever or other symptoms.

That doesn't sound typical of HSV.  I'm not a medical professional, but it sounds like an allergic reaction of sorts.  I'd speak to your doctor.

HSV viremia can and does present in that way on a primary infection. Anna Wald believes it is not that uncommon. She says that with treatnent with AV's it does not persist.

Hi Higgs I had unraised red dots on my upper arms that appeared during the primary OB. I looked it up and it said its a sign that your body was hit by a virus. Some of them are still there. My skin has become much more pink and sensative as well, I believe it's from immflamuation.  My point is though not typical this virus can effect each of our bodies differently.

Podria ser pero en un brote primario podria tener brotes en nalgas, muslos, pene, o vagina, pelvis, espalda abdomen, si tiene lesiones en sus brazos es por que infectó su brazo mejor hacer un cultivo de sus lesiones en los brazos

It could be but in a primary outbreak it could have sprouts in the buttocks, thighs, penis, or vagina, pelvis, abdomen back, if you have injuries in your arms it is because you infected your arm better do a culture of your injuries in the arms

Years ago when I was going to the monthly LA/HELP meetings, a new lady complained about having a primary outbreak over her entire body. A month or two later she simply said it was "under control." I'd never heard of such a thing. So I'd assume it will get better and respond to anti-virals.

I've been experiencing this allover body itch with some raised red dots, some especially on my chest that I have scratched and they have scabbed over. I started searching the internet and found several articles that talk about this condition as being disseminated herpes. Didn't like the rest of what was said as it was scary, very scary. So far I still haven't found a Dr who will listen to my symptoms. They just prescribe anti itch cream and tell me it's not herpes. But it never goes away and seems to be spreading...still not actual blisters or even a cluster of blister just one red bump at a time. But the stinging itch is awful...and it's everywhere on me.

Makes it so hard to be positive mentally!
