Herpes positive dating sites?

Recommended Posts

Hello again,

I was just wandering, are there any real dating sites for Herpes/HIV like positive people?

I tried to find trough google, but most of them seem like scammers.

Anybody tried anything?

Why limit yourself and put your life in a box, just get out there and meet people, if they are not right they are not right and find someone who is.

Don't worry about specific dating sites.

agree with @The Voyager. Get out and see what happens.  I never thought id meet someone, but i did. Just make sure to disclose when the time is right. You don't have to immediately. Just get out and meet people.

Folks in the community have had some luck with Positive Singles, but I suspect most folks who are ready to be social and meet the community live (highly recommended - the best possible healer of the spirit) are on Facebook!

Because ppl are tired of being rejected and having their hearts broken. I use to have that sort of optimism but I've never had a positive disclosure and I've disclosed so many times. even I'm about ready to box myself in. No one wants me..

Don't expect that someone on a herpes dating site is going to be any more genuine than anybody else it is a easy out for having to disclose for most guys and a lot of them just want casual sex in my experience.

Just try the larger more reputable dating websites. They have many more people with herpes and those more than prepared to accept partners with herpes.

Im not afraid of stigma or disclosing and such, because i think stigmas are really stupid.  Its just cuz the only thing i am afraid of is passing the virus to a very loved person, its just unbearable feeling to me, so i thought of looking for someone who already has it. That's why I asked.

On regular site some people with herpes will put this in profile or page

437737 it is herpes spelled on a key pad. A few years ago before I got hsv I did meet a guy who had #s in his profile when I asked him what the #s were he really didn't give me an answer I didnt pursue I thought it was a typo.

I know of the "Charlotte H" website for dating, but have never visited it.   I would have to tend to agree, either people are accepting and understanding or "box of rocks dumb" and thoughtless.

"#S" is supposed to be a code referencing that you have herpes?

I had something "click" a couple weekends ago.   I was at a function and a friend of mind introduced me to their former partner.  I noticed that the former partner had a cold sore.  Lets say that now, my friend was "available" and if I was interested in seeing them,  It made me think that In this particular situation, a person could easily and honestly say something like "I see your former partner is prone to fever blisters----I do too, but mine occur below the belt line and the same risk and precautions you used before would apply".
