Quick question..

Hi everyone. I read all these posts, and everyone seems so helpful, so I was wondering if you guys could help me. I have these bumps around the opening to my vaginia (sp?) and I have bumps on my vulva (I think that's what its called)..But they don't itch, and the only time it burns is if I touch them and then dircetly go pee. Even if I wait a minute and go pee then it DOES NOT hurt. It honestly doesn't hurt, itch, burn, anything. I was reading a post and the one girl said when she went to the doctor, the doctor told her that her bumps were there just because that's the way she is. So that is possible? I'm thinking that I'm just stressing and making my body react this way when in reality I'm okay. I can honestly say that I check down there like 5-6 times A DAY!!!! Thanks everyone!!

One more thing...what do blisters look like? Like what color are they? How do they feel?..etc..thanks again!..

I'm not sure if blisters look the same on guys as they do on girls, so I'll leave this for one of the ladies to answer...

Are you lymph glands swollen at all in your groin?

Stand straight up, and push with the tip of your fingers around your groin... like where your legs meets your torso. Try both sides...

In this picture they are marked as the 'inguinal nodes'

If they are swollen, they will be VERY tender to the touch... You could feel a lump on one or both sides, and they would be sensitive...

Quick question...

Ok..I checked the lymph nodes and it doesn't hurt at all. I mean there are bumps but I'm sure its just muscle..It hurts when I push VERY VERY hard..does that mean they're swollen....Oh god..I need help.. :(

No, if you have to push hard for them to hurt, then yours probably aren't swollen...

If they were, you can almost feel it without touching them, but if you rub them even lightly, you can feel how tender they are... They would feel sore and about the size of a half a tootsie roll.

Yours are not swollen...

In the abscense of swollen glands, or any itching/burning, etc I'd tend to say with 98% confidence that what you have is not HSV... combined with the fact that they just seem to 'come and go'.... Nothing about that seems to sound like HSV to me.

If there is never any pain or discomfort, I don't even think I'd worry about going to the doctor about it.... Maybe next time you are at the doctor for a check-up/physical, or for another reason, just bring it up.

Of course, if you are still worrying, you may as well go to the doctor just for the peace of mind.

Good luck!

Hi,

Like Pilot said, it doesn't sound like herpes to me, either.

When you get herpes outbreak in genital area, it HURTS. It's sometimes hard to see the blister, cuz it's easy to break when you walk, when you go to the bathroom...

If you don't have pain, or discharge, or unusual headache, muscle pain,... probably just a pimple.

It's the place you get a pimple easily, too.

Of couse, if it starts getting worse, go see a doctor.

But otherwise.. I think you're ok...

Faith
