I would like to get some feedback from the group on how you’re living healthy and what really makes a difference in making you feel better. Whether it’s diet, supplements, etc...? what’s the best way to keep this thing where it belongs, Dormant!?

Thanks and have a great day everyone!

Feeling Normal Again
Posted (edited)

I know this is an old post, but I love the title "living healthy"  and the topic. I'm passionate about nutrition, natural remedies, and exercise.

I eat almost 100% gmo free, about 95% organic, and although I eat meat, I don't eat a lot of it. I use gmo free, soy free, and corn free meat substitutes a lot. No pork or shellfish, I'm kosher.

I cook almost everything at home from scratch, we even bake our own breads, Nothing processed.

My food motto is,  "If there's a commercial for it, I don't usually eat it!"

I swim 45 minutes of laps at least three times a week, ab workouts, walking and jogging, stretching, breathing exercises, and like a sensory deprivation meditation.

My supplement regimen is echinacea, dandilion, and zinc immune support. Gotu Kola, Grape Seed extract, Apple Pectin brain and energy. Milk thistle liver and kidneys. Astragalus hormones. Neem and graviola tea hsv2, Neem oil hsv2. All supplements one wk on--two wks off, and oils and teas once a week.

Juices beet, cranberry, grape, apple, aloe vera, Ginger Soother, orange, and antioxidant mix.

Stomach health Ginger Soother, garlic caps, sip of red wine, Worse case scenario, when all else fails organic coconut bark activated charcoal. Or Glutamine added to juices. And probiotic. (All as needed).

I take a few more things for circulation.

I'm a health junkie, but I was WAY worse before contracting hsv... ;)

Feeling Normal Again

Way worse, as in exercised even more, was vegetarian, and even more into nutrition and herbs, than I am now.

Catching hsv2, has chilled me out a little, because if I could catch something with as healthy and careful as I was, what was the point? But I figured if I started eating crap/garbage food or quit exercising all together, I would feel a lot worse! ;)

2 years outbreak free, I've found my natural regimen and healthy lifestyle work for me!

Hi, I have the exact same thing and have been to a gp and sexual health clinic and it hasn’t been resolved. Did you get any answers?

a week ago, I went to lab and get my test done for STD. everything is clear on the test except HSV 1.   Ranges are  <0.90 - Negative 0.90-1.09 - Equivocal >1.09 - Positive   And My result for HSV 1 seems to be too high    it is HSV 1 IGG, TYPE SPECIFIC AB 56.90 H ( OUT OF RANGE ) I was paid for this test (full std) everything came back negative except hsv 1, after I seen the result, I called my doctor to made an appointment to discuss this matter. I will most likely request a test from my doctor and have him to check this out.  It's been 3 years I was in USA and had sex just a couple times.   I never had unprotected sex since like 10 years. I was in USA for 3 years now and like i said never had sex unprotected almost for 10 years. Received oral for 5-6 times.   Here is the picture :  The purple marks on my legs are stretch marks due of doing weight lifting. I do have so many of them on my body. As you see in the picture, they are FLAT. not like a bump or pimple. I checked so many pictures on internet but I think mines don't look like herpes but I just want to know your thoughts about this.
