Numb and feeling robbed

Recommended Posts

They day after I had the conversation with my boyfriend that I tested posiive for hsv, which he took surprisingly well. Well he came over to my house pretty intoxicated. We talked about alot of things. He openly admitted that he never used a condom in his life. He kept making jokes about it, I told him I wasn' ready for that yet and I just wanted to ignore it that night and try to feel normal after 5 days of crying. In the middle of one of our conversations he slipped in "Well you didn' know I already had it". I was so in shock I just ignored the comment. Fyi. I hate confrontation. I don' know how to feel or proceed after that. If he truly did know, how in the hell do you just not tell someone? How do you Rob someone of their chance to make a choice? I love him and was afraid to lose him when I told him. But now I almost feel like he tried to trap me.

If he was educated by a Dr. I would expect this. They really downplay it and people are really not educated.

HSV 1 or 2? It is amazing how many people don't even know much about hsv1 or 2 and I am sorry you are going through this.

I don' know yet, I have to have more blood work in 3-6 months. My IgGs  were negative, I had a positive swab. I'm. guessing hsv 2 though.
