Food advice

Hi

I'm just recovering from my first outbreak and I really want to try everything in my power to prevent another. I'm a little worried because I eat a really healthy vegan diet which I can't compromise on, but there are so many foods that I eat that are apparently a no go. I really want to stay healthy as it's a passion of mine plus key to preventing a breakout.  Did any of you experiment with food and found that you can eat foods that you are not meant to?

Thanks

Feeling Normal Again

Being a health freak didn't prevent my outbreaks. I ate only gmo-free, organic, vegetarian diet, and worked out an hour daily.

Extremely healthy lifestyle, and I still had constant outbreaks and other "not so typical" symptoms. The only thing I've found that prevents outbreaks naturally is Neem Capsules and Neem oil.

I prefer Organic India Capsules and NOW Neem oil.

I do one week on and two weeks off on the Capsules and oil once a week before bed.

If having an outbreak when first using, use both twice daily. If I ever feel tingly sensation, I apply oil immediately, and sores never surface.

Outbreak free for two years using neem.

Speaking of diet, extra weight sure can cause some problems so any diet knowledge will be useful, thank you. My mother’s BG is very high sometimes. It can rise up to 25 mmol/L so having a very straight diet is necessary. I will definitely show her this videos. She is 66 already almost 5ft and 15th 41bs. She is trying to keep it more vegan and she reduced eating anything that can be sweet even sucrose is not allowed because even tho it’s less harmful it’s still sugar. In order to lose some extra weight, she started using appetite suppressors and it works for now. I think she won’t be using it after she loses some and BG will be easier.

literally cold sores just make my whole mouth area numb and in pain, especially when i eat food or take a shower. it's super hard too when you are trying not to break open the scab but daily activities tend to make it worse. luckily, i don't get headaches or anything so bless your souls, just a lil runny nose and lots of pain.   i have found some natural remedies/OTCs ease the pain. ice for example always makes it feel more numb, but i have to wait until the scab isn't super delicate.   i made a parody to 7rings by ariana grande destigmatizing cold sores-- give it a chance:) and if you like it, repost with the hashtag #realslimsorechallenge with your own tips to shorten coldsores everywhere! they friggin suck!!!!! we gotta be here for eachother:)
