Genital herpes.. help!!

Recommended Posts

I was diagnosed with herpes almost 3 years ago, first year had one outbreak same again with the second year, this year i have currently experienced 3 outbreaks in the space of 6 months. The out break I have at the moment is unbearable, I can't move/sit/walk/pee/sleep properly.

I am due to go on holiday abroad in 5 days time and I just keep crying as I feel I'm going to ruin the holiday and not be able to enjoy it.

i am taking acciclovir three times a day, ibuprofen 400mg three times a day, cetirzine antihistamines twice a day, vitamin c twice a day and apply lanacane cream to help numb the area but I still feel like I am getting no relief whatsoever.

I also do not have a bath so to bathe in Epsom salts is not an option for myself :(

If anyone could suggest something to help cope with this pain i would be very grateful.

Tried to attach a picture but won't let me upload .

totally being serious it'll be relaxing and help calm your nerves it works wonder for pain and it also calms inflammation which it seems like your struggling with.

if anything it'll help you rest what will bring your stress down which will help your immune system fight the virus until the anti viral can grab hold!

Thank you, i might give it a try but I work 40 plus hours a week so might be tricky. Especially since I work at a pharmacy haha.

Ive heard about oregano oil, do you use it? If so what strength is it ?

Shouldn’t be too hard ordering it online! And the oreganol oil just make sure it’s p73, and if you’re going to apply it on topically, dilute it with a carrier oil like coconut. I did use it when I had outbreaks but it’s been about 5 months.

You can always get a sitz bath.  They give them to you after you have a baby and usually sell them at a pharmacy.  It goes on the seat of your toilet and gives you a place to soak your bits in warm water and epson salts!
