Between your first outbreaks and now outbreaks with medicine how long did they last ?

My first outbreak lasted 3 weeks and was incredibly painful with medication. My 2nd outbreak was a month later with no medication being used and I barely realised I was having an outbreak. I had 1 sore and some nerve pain and itching and it lasted a few days. I think I've had a third outbreak but not even 100% sure. Had a few bumps but no blisters and was just itchy for a few days. Not currently taking any medication other than lysine and vitamins .

I'm 40 and I've had it since may this year. I'm currently having another outbreak. With my first outbreak I had 30+ blisters but with my outbreaks since there has been 1 blister each time that isnt really painful like the first ob. It's more of a tingle rather than painful and they have been pretty high up on the vag so when I pee it doesn't touch them unlike the first outbreak where they were everywhere! ! The outbreaks I get now are barely noticeable. I get a little nerve pain in my leg and I always get stomach type cramps for a few days, then a blister appears and after a few days everything has cleared up.  The first outbreak was the most painful thing I've ever experienced but now I don't really think about herpes much to be honest.

I had it for two months , my first outbreak was a cluster of blisters 10+ , the pain and stinging was horrible but I managed somehow , they took 3 weeks to heal . I am now in my second outbreak which is two tiny pimples that turned into an ulcer 3 days after noticing I have them .

It will get better don't worry,

oh, btw I use coconut oil daily like a suppression therapy maybe thats why it's been minor to me . :)

@hopeful22 Sorry, just to save me a bunch of reading and possibly getting nowhere..and I'm not sure I'm asking correctly.. Is cas12a in the casY category?  Is there some list showing each useful enzyme and which category it's in?

@Hairpeesthere is absolutely nothing inaccurate in what I have said and I stand by EVERY word. There is not one ounce of fact or accuracy in any of your comments. I’m sorry for your misinterpretations, but their yours alone. I suggest you need to undertake considerable research before commenting further. Please lift yourself.

I was going to post something about this but I figure this should help people understand before this thread goes haywire.  CAS12A remember cas12a  Instead of CRISPR cas9 crispr cas12a is a more precise and deemed more safe.  In the past couple weeks CRISPR has had a lot of bad publicity over new research, but last week it was discovered that another enzyme CAS12A is very precise and safe.  I am guessing that Excisionbio is going to switch gears and start using CAS12A instead of cas9.  please see the article published last week.  https://www.genengnews.com/gen-news-highlights/crispr-cas12a-more-precise-than-crispr-cas9/81256099

bad UI design. but I agree. they probably consider HSV-1 and HSV-2 comparable enough and will do each with a different CAS to see what works better.. and then likely do another study with whichever wins the comparison...

LOL Those bars don't say anything about effectivenes. They are an indicator about how far they have gotten in the preclinical efficacy studies stage.
