Hello. I’m new. Is there anything new to stop outbreaks?

I’m seeing a lot of suggestions and some info about vaccines. Is there anything for reals? Something new that’s available? Any medical treatments ???

Sigh  :(

Hey @NewBeMeowMeow the only known and proven medicine to help are antivirals to HSV with acyclovir the most common.

What is happening for you? What do these outbreaks consist of?

Just got it reciently. Yeah me! Just god awful pain, cramps and other wonderful emotions. I hate all of this. Been reading about supplements but I guess it just helps with outbreaks

Was reading about some vaccines but nothing is available. :(

Yes. It that could be any number of things. What testing did you have for herpes and other things?

One does not test for herpes with a Pap smear? Hmm.

But on that note ladies be sure to go to your yearly gyno appointment for HPV screening.

Sorry but there's no cure and no sign of one in the near future (years, not weeks/months). We're all in the same boat. I've had it for 10yrs +.

It's awful when you get it (like right now for me) but there's nothing you can do to stop it reoccurring. Best I can say is:

Buy Dynamiclear - as soon as you get an outbreak put it on and it will kill it off immediately, leaving your skin to recover over a few days.

Generally when you're run down/tired your immune system suffers and that triggers an outbreak so try to avoid getting like that by getting enough sleep. It's not always possible but... You'll also find it triggered by stress, and again, try to avoid that.

That's pretty much, IMO, all you need to know.
