This doesn’t sound like genital herpes to me. You should go to the doctor and get tested. The doctor will be able to better diagnose what is going on with you. Don’t be scared!

I have really bad blisters in my inner thighs that are turning into like ulcers basically it’s like raw skin patches down there very painful when anything touches it it’s been going on. For a couple weeks I also think it’s spreading but I have it mainly on my inner thighs. Once one clears up I get like 2 or 3 more on the other side also last night I had a tingly feeling on my upper lip I read on here to put tooth paste so I did that but I woke up and it’s like a red spot on the top of my lip now so i think now I’m having a breakout on my mouth aswell I never went thru anything like this I’m so worried yet so scared to go to a doctor

Definitely go to a doctor. Or go out of town to a clinic where no1 knows you it'll take some of the fear of goin out of it. When did it start and was there an encounter near then that concerns you.

It stated happening late September and has not gone away since in fact just keeps spreading & yes I had an unprotected intercourse with a ex of mine. When I first started to feel weird I brought it to his attention he acted as if I was crazy. Then I later broke down to him after google research I started crying & telling him I think he gave me herpes he told me not to worry that he had the same thing a couple months before and turned out to be nothing but I don’t believe him I think he knows he had it and purposely didn’t say anything.

How likely is it to get hpv 1 & 2 at the same time ? Or can u spread either one on yourself like if I touch an outbreak on my inner thigh and then touch another part of my body can that cause an out break there to happen because I think I spread it on my face now I woke up with a red patch on my upper lip. I also have scab like cuts on my left eye lid. And I had one on my cheek last week but it kinda cleared up on my cheek

I’m going to go later on today. The person I had intercourse with got tested and everything came back normal I know this is true because I was on the phone with him when he called in to get his resaults so that made me feel a bit better but I’m still wondering if he came back clean can I still have it and if I do what does that mean could I have  caught it months ago ? And not known & if it’s not herpes what could it possibly be

I feel something else is going on! Because An outbreak like you describe is way beyond normal. An outbreak clears up after two weeks and does not keep spreading like you mention. You need a test to clear your head about this!

Hello, thank you for your generous donation. I donated on Monday after finding the amazing work that has been done. I got a lot of answers from this forum and I hope more people get involved.  Donation send a great message of the interest that we have for a cure. Thank you and I really believe the cure is in the next couple of years.

I’m bringing us to 20k; I really believe in the research the Jerome lab is doing and want it to cure everyone.

I think people are discouraged by past failures but remember in failure, new things are learned and the progress on understanding hsv is increasing. Up until Jerome’s lab devised a way to attack the latent virus in 2012 there was never a way to potentially cure it; now there is. Couple in the advancements in technology and I think there’s more hope now than ever that it can be cured in the near future.

      That's actually a comforting statistic

Because it is still a non curable threat in community. Whether it's a small group of people who experience the most severe symptoms, they're still people, just like you. Hsv prevalence will only grow due to lack of effectiveness of treatment and eventual resistance of virus. The virus will infect more and more people and this virus will and may affect your quality of life and in some rare cases it may lead to severe complications and blindness, meningitis etc. Last time I checked by 2025, US will have half of its population infected genital herpes. Do you think WOH and health community will like that?
