That’s not looking like herpes. It could be a number of things including yeast or inflamed fordyce spots. Best to see a doctor to help further.

All I have been doing is research over the past three weeks and I still don’t even know where to begin this post because it’s still so shocking. This post might be long but I hope someone will read it and help me.  I feel like the doctors don’t really truly know about this topic in depth and I have no one to learn from and I’m so so scared.
My first outbreak was 10 months ago. I had just had sex with a new person and started my period.  The doctor said it was BV and a yeast infection.  I knew that it couldn’t just be that.  My labia was terribly swollen and cut up that it was so painful to go to the bathroom.  Got better but then was cut up again about 2 weeks later and I think after antibiotics really had a yeast infection too.  About 3 weeks ago I felt really itchy one day and the next day I had a cut on my inner labia and started my period that same day.  After closely inspecting it I realized that maybe it could be a blister.  I got the doctor to swab it and they confirmed it was hsv2.  From the time the doc saw it my labia did get a little more raw but def not as bad as what happened 10 months ago.  Of course at that point my stress levels are high and I went back to the doctor a week later to get tested for everything else to make sure I was ok.  So of course high stress again.  Once my initial cut was healed I shaved and ended up with what I think was another outbreak but this time next to my outer labia.  I went back and forth if it was from shaving but I feel like there were two spots and they had itched and were painful. Those spots are not fully healed but no longer hurt.  This morning and for most of the day I felt a sunburn type feeling on my right butt.  When I’m looking at it now I swear that I can see these small bump patches that might look like little blisters ... I don’t think they look like regular little butt bumps. They are so small and it’s hard to see but it does feel tender.  So this makes it seem like the 3rd little outbreak within 3 weeks.   I have always had very dry sensitive skin and I have been very super aware of every little thing since this diagnosis.  I’m supposed to start my period next week and I’m terrified that with it will come a 4th little outbreak.  This is not as painful as that first outbreak but it’s more upsetting cause it feels like it’s lasting longer.

      1. Does any of what I’m describing sound normal.  Can you get it in 3 different spots within 3 weeks like this? Why does it keep restarting and it didn’t last time.  Is it ever going to end!?
      2. How can I figure out what this is going to be like for me if every single circumstance has had different symptoms.
      3. I thought it was mostly supposed to be in the same place so why does this seem like 3 different places? Also, the spot on my butt if it’s hsv2 is this just a place where it can show up or did I spread it there?
      4. If this is a spot on my butt does this mean that I can shed there? I’m so terrified of spreading this to my family.  The spot on my butt is in a place that could be potentially touched by someone as it’s on the top and wouldn’t maybe be covered by s bathing suit. If I’m holding my niece on my hips and her legs happen to rub against that part of my butt and I’m shedding could I pass it to her.
      5. I went 10 months between these outbreaks and I’m hoping that I won’t have to deal with this often but I’m not understanding why all of the sudden for 3 weeks I’m having something new pop up each week.  I’m so scared that this is going to be my new normal.  I just want to feel like me again and comfortable in my own skin and for the last three weeks all I’ve felt is uncomfortable in my skin.
I’d appreciate any help that someone who has been through this can help. I feel hopeless
      I’ve been taking everyday
      a. Probiotic
      b. Vitamin c
      c. Vitamin d
have periodically used coconut oil, lavender, rosemary, and have taken lysine a handful of times.

It's been five months since possible exposure and keep having symptoms. I keep experiencing thigh and pelvic pain and thick discharge. Also get shooting pains vaginally and on my butt. I just saw a small white bump inside my labia and next to it is a small open sore. They don't hurt when touched but the rest of my vagina hurts when touched or sitting. Does any of this sound like anyone's ob? I got tested in October but I'm scared I tested too early and now having trouble getting a doctor to retest me

      Hello everyone,
I tested positive for HSV 1 & 2 yesterday. In these short 24 hours my emotion's have been on a roller coaster.  Sometimes I feel like I am normal and I can get over this mentally but then sometimes I break down and cry and feel so nasty about myself and the decisions I've made in life. Anyways I'm not writing on here to throw myself a pitty party but instead to find out what you guys prefer. Do you take medicine if so do you take it daily or just when you have outbreaks? Do you do the natural way and if so what are your recipes? What do you think are the pros and cons to either. I just really don't want to take a pill everyday to remind me of my choices. Any feedback is appreciated.

My nightmare started more than 2 months ago, pretty normal life but after an encounter (oral no protection), girl told my she was clean (been dating for a while now) she had one long relationship before me.  I started to feel almost 2 days later irritation in my glans and meatus. Consulted with a doctor and he prescribed Azytromicin/ceftriaxone/ metronidazole, thinking it was a urethritis.
3 days after treatment felt muscle pain in the inside of my groin and light right testicular pain while sitting (had a similar feeling 6 months ago and an ultrasound was made revealing a small varicocele).  Small itchy rash in my lower right back it disappeared in couple of hours.
In the morning my urethra looked mildly red and irritated.
I started to apply cicaplast baume around the area, but only more irritation was felt.
4 days:  new symptoms, light icy sensation after washing my testicles and glans.
7 Days in: I had an erection and I felt my glans was being cut or something, very painful, felt very irritated and it was very red, never looked this way before.  Could not see any pimple, vesicle or cut, just rednes and irritation mostly around urethra, glans looked very tight, scaly.   (Picture 1)
When it was small again it looked super wrinkled.
10 days consulted a dermatologist: told me it looked pretty normal gave a soothing cream and fluconazol 1 dose, hydrocortisone 1% for 7 days (mild? To no improvement).
      Tests:
Urethra swab:  ocasional: polymorphonuclears, gram positive coccus and yeast.
      HSV 1 and HSV 2 test made 10 days post:  HSV1 IGG and HSV2 IGG: 164 and 145 UI/ml   (value cut 90 and 110)
      HSV1 And 2 IGM: negative
15 days: no improvement saw an urologist gave me Acexamic Acid for 5 days
Saw a small withe lesion, irritated inside of urethra, did not sting , no pain while urinating, no secretion. Disappeared within a day or 2.  (Picture 2)
30 days: saw an infectiologist doctor: told me that did not looked like Herpes, he saw the lab test (random laboratory not that prestigious) and told me that crossed reaction is common, HSV1 orally, but that test was no conclusive (low titles).  (Picture 3)
Urine test (PCR test) for STD (it includes chlamydia, gonorrea, ureoplasma, mycoplasma, thricomona).  All negative.
35 days: started noticing a stinging pain in matus and it irradiated thru the inside and started to have mild stings near suprapubic área, mostly in the first hours of the morning.
Another swab: Staph aureus positve. Started cefadroxil 500mg twice daily
HIV INSTI (-) (5 and a half weeks)
No improvements, and I am feeling hopeless, stinging persist mostly while sitting, redness still there around meatus and glans , scaly glans and redness during erection.
False sense of wetness near pubic area (like if someone randomly dropped a drop of water but no real wetness or secretion seen upon checking in the moment)
In my country there is no PCR swab, western blot or virus culture.
I can not sleep… , I don’t feel normal, pretty depressed over this… I can’t concentrate on anything, past girlfriends did have oral Herpes, never used condoms for oral just vaginal… did not know about HSV…
Could it be gHSV1? Or gHSV2? I cannot recall when I had a sores in my mouth, they were very mild and have not had one in years. Where they sores?
      Please help !!!
Last picture is the way it looks when it is small.
Sorry for my english, kind of rusty.

yes, get IGG testing ASAP, but be prepared for it to come back negative this first time if it is your first infection. A swab would be better if you have fresh blisters.  If they are already healed, and if its your first infection, be prepared for another subsequent OB (I'm sorry to tell you) coming soon after the first.. You can get swabbed at that one then.  Stay strong.  Support your immune system. Get rest. Take Vit. C and some other herbals might be nice...I have posted some stuff about that in the past. collodial silver gel or spray perhaps too directly on sores hugs to you

@Franky26 your vows include "from this day forth" - there is no fine print that grants you annulment for previous actions and certainly not for the random assortment of herpes viruses that every person walks down the aisle with. To the extent that it was required (and I do not believe it is, although this is not relevant) your partner has been forgiven in the eyes of the Lord for all her past actions; as part of your marriage vows you are joined in that forgiveness. That blood test is notorious for false positives, Having an oral HSV-1 cold sore infection is a known risk factor for a false positive. So yes I do recommend obtaining a further ELISA test. You may even try to obtain the Westernblot from University of Washington for the definitive word on the subject.

It is pretty definite he has HSV-2 so at least you will be concordant in that respect with no fears of passing it to him. Yes, there is a good possibility of some outbreaks within the first few months, however, this will not be a sign of your longer term experience which should improve tremendously.

Hey @WilsoInAus   Thank you for your reply, we live in north America, she did the test here in Canada, I will attach a copy of the test below. I understand your point of view but its hard for me to cope with this. I never thought this would happen to me which I m sure most people feel the same.  yes I did took vows for better or worst but I feel those vows are for whatever happens after marriage not because of something happened in the past.  i feel like this is something that is going to remind me of her past for the rest of my life. its not easy for me to look past that.
