ok, about 2 months ago i received oral sex from a complete stranger. a couple days after the incident a red dot formed close to my urethra. now you can only notice it depending on lighting, and it is just slightly darker than the normal color of my head. it never hurt, bothered, itched, or burned. now i saw some things on the internet dealing with 'pearly whites' or whatever they are called. when you stretch the skin around that area those pearly whites look like whiteheads. now i am uncircumsized and when i pull my skin back i see little things that almost look like pearly whites. they are much smaller and aren't prominent at all. you must be a meticolous observer to notice them. now they are a little more clustered then the ones next to the base of my penis. they have been there for about 1 month and they have seemed to spread a little, but nothing too noticeable. they don't hurt or even bother me physically, but a little mentally .... any chance of it being an STD?

It's been there 1 month, and.. don't really sound like herpes..

I think someone posted a question similar like yours a while ago. And maybe Richard... or it was MC37 Pilot...? A male member was giving the answer...

Probably some of male folks will come and answer you later...

Best wishes..

Faith

thanks a lot ... i have one quick question ... recently i just got a gf. she has performed oral sex on me a couple times. the last time she did it she did it for a while and the next day she had like a little pimple (tiny white-head looking) pimple on the uper part of her lip. we kiss a lot and i got the same pimple she got in the same exact spot. it dried out after a couple days and never got big, but didn't seem to disappear. i can still see a little bump. a part of my lip also seems a little irritated, like something will soon break out. its been like that for the past 4 days? it doesn't hurt or itch, but i am afraid that maybe i have something down there and when she gave me oral she got it and gave it to my lips. is this possible and does it sound like herpes? like when you guys get coldsores can you tell the difference between the blister and a little pimple?

@EssenceL25 there really isn't a question mark around the source, it's your latest partner. The median time from infection to an outbreak of lesions upon initial infection is 4 days.  The only thing that isn't certain is the type I suggest.

I asked if it was hsv 1 or 2 and the doctor said it was Hsv2. I’m not sure i just asked him when he was tested last he said this year I said I think we should go test together and he agreed . I’m going to bring it up again cause I really need to know if he gave this to me I wasn’t sure since it was so close to my previous relationship.

@EssenceL25 then it is all beyond reasonable doubt that the current partner is the source. A 'perfect' fit in terms of timing, symptoms and swab. It may be though that the type is not technically known. Culture swabs are very often not typed and just assumed to be HSV-2 if taken from a genital location. If you received oral sex in the days leading into 7 March then it is 50/50 as to whether this is HSV-1 or HSV-2. You could contact your doctor and confirm if the swab was actually typed (which is a second test where fluorescent antibodies for HSV-1 and HSV-2 are added and see which one 'glows').  If that test wasn't done then you do not know type. If you have oral HSV-1 yourself (cold sores) then this will be HSV-2. Does your partner have oral HSV-1? It is somewhat strange for him not to rush and test - many people have a 'reaction' if they truly do not know their status and have concerns that you infected them etc. (not initially rational of course). This indicates he may know his status - or maybe he just isn't simply the sharpest tool in the shed!?

I had flu like symptoms and ulcers on my vagina . They did a culture and I tested positive for hsv2. I asked my partner to get tested he agreed but I’m not sure if he will cause he hasn’t said anything else about it.
