AUSTRALIANS - Herpes Testing Index Numbers

Any aussies here that have tested noticed that our labs don't put the index number on the results - just shows positive, equivocal or negative? Do you know why that is and if there is a lab that will show numbers? I asked my doctor and he said, they have their own criteria and positive is positive, negative is negative and that's it. He has never seen index numbers on any herpes test ever...

Also, anyone know if aussies can get the western blot and where?

westernblot is not done in Australia anymore, 

and yes, they dont give you the index numbers, I tried different labs none of them gave index number,

Yea it's annoying especially where the herpes expert say if your index numbers are a low positive between 1.1-3.5, further testing is required to confirm it isn't a false positive which  apparently 50% of people in that range may not have herpes.
