CAN’T WE SELF TEST CURES

I’m soo frustrated . Can’t we all get a Bio Hacker or a Scientist who is willing to work with us and just self test a cure based on all the available science available . Waiting 15-20years is crazy . I can’t do it . My life is passing by me right now . What do I do now. Is this concept so crazy. Before the 20th century mankind did so much so quickly .imagine if the red tape we see now was around back then nothing would get done within a reasonable time frame . We need action now .

Collective minds can achieve anything .  with all this said anyone know of any scientist or bio hackers interested in self testing.

Its not a crazy idea if you have a couple million dollars lying around.

As common as this condition is you have to think that wealthy people simply employ a private lab and have them perform experimental treatments on them with signed consent... while we wait for the FDA to dick around and watch us suffer. These days they are more concerned with upholding their reputation and covering their own ass than bringing swift relief to ailing sufferers.

I remember when I was a child... I was up late and I saw a commercial for Valtrex. Fast forward over 20+ years and now I contract HSV. The first thing I thought to myself during my first OB was... "That valtrex commercial was sooo long ago.... I was a kid. WIth all the advancements in science, medicine, and technology that have been happening, SURELY they have something better now right? And if not, they have to be close to it, right?" WRONG. welcome to the twilight zone. Where every STD on the planet either has a cure or an advanced treatment by now, except HSV.

I just don't get it. If its such a "mild skin condition" then why on earth is it taking soooooo  long to come up with something that could atleast let us live a normal life, then? I understand it's tricky to cure outright, but over a half century of research and they cant even give us a cream or an injection that at least TEMPORARILY disables the virus for a few hours?? We have to sit helplessly as our lives slip away over a "mild skin condition"? Then they have the nerve to obligate us to disclose to everyone. Huh??? You just told me its not a big deal and its a common skin rash thats easily manageable. No cure, no vaccine, but its not a big deal. Research has been stagnant. In fact they dont even test for it.... um Ok??? If you guys clearly don't give a damn then why should we??! Its just not adding up here. Either treat this thing like a serious condition, or don't.

Then I found out how the FDA works. They force every researcher to go through a decade of testing for every new treatment. Approximately 22% of treatments even make it past phase 3 testing as is.  And because its not life threatening, The medical world likens this disease to pink eye or eczema... which means nothing EVER gets fast-tracked for us. Do the math, and we're looking at ONE FDA approved treatment every 50 years. Technically I guess that means we're due for something soon but still. Sorry for the rant but I feel your frustration, its truly sad and outrageous. If you ever meet a biohacker let me know.

Honestly your rant is exactly how I feel , this makes no sense to me .....everything has a cure or a treatment .....honestly the false morality of this entire issue pisses me off even more , within the last 50 years they started testing for type specific hsv so before this all of humanity there was no communication about this “harmless disease” it’s the dumbest thing, we are in the Twilight Zone .

I believe God give cure for every condition its just need to be founded also I believe that they have something for hsv condition, this condition is among us for ages, but pharmaceutical companies don't have interest to cure people they rather collect money for relief but for years it is what it is can't do nothing about it

With the emerging evidence  our healers are heeding the call. The issue appears to be rapidly opening. Bringing long needed healing to this forum.

Yes, but every married person who I found out about that has this waited 6-8 months into the relationship to disclose it. But maybe you're right. If I had told her 6-7 months in, she'd still have Googled it and flipped out, and maybe it would have been harder then. I don't know. I don't see myself going through this level of pain and rejection so easily next time. I really don't. I'm taking the meds. I use protection. It's been almost a decade since I've had it so I'm not worried about shedding or passing it on so easily. British studies confirm that the first 2 years are the most contagious and we're passed that. I'm just over this. I've never been in so much emotional pain in my life.

Is this herpes? I can’t find any pics that match this exactly and my symptoms don’t really match. I don’t have really any of the typical herpes symptoms other than pictured, so I figured it could be friction as I have recently been having a lot of sex with a new partner. Way more than normal. Started having unprotected sex about 3 - 4 weeks ago. These symptoms only started about 3-4 days ago. Felt burning in some areas and only some very few tiny red areas/spots appeared. Almost shiny in appearance. Seems to settle very quickly. They were only present for a day or so. Also had some very mild irritation after I pee but not during. This spot has 2 small red lumps that are now dry around the outside. It’s like it’s been rubbed off and the skin is dry and shiny underneath. It doesn’t seem to be lesion. There was no puss or any leakage, nor was the skin ever red under them. They also got better within a day or so. I still have red spots around but they are very small and not bunched together and some general discomfort but I feel it’s because I’ve touched it so much! Stressing a bit!  my research tells me friction burn/blister , Fungal ,herpes a bit of it all! I have no idea! Please help! Thanks in advance.

I’m going to force him to get tested ! Thanks for your help !

@EssenceL25 there really isn't a question mark around the source, it's your latest partner. The median time from infection to an outbreak of lesions upon initial infection is 4 days.  The only thing that isn't certain is the type I suggest.
