Looking for Help/Advice - warning images included

I’m looking for some help and advice and I know nobody on here can diagnose anything for me but I thought those who have been diagnosed might know a bit more about this than me. So I got what I thought was a UTI a couple of weeks ago, I was on vacation so I waited until I got back to go to the GP. It started off with urge to pee frequently, pain when peeing and not able to pass a lot of urine at a time. It then started being a bit painful down below just in general so I decided to take a look and saw what I would consider not normal (see pics) and haven’t noticed before but then again don’t look right up there often. I don’t know how long this has been there or if the pain was because of the UTI or because of what’s down there. This has been 2.5 weeks since I discovered this. I saw my doctor 2 days ago and said I thought maybe I had warts but she did not think it looked like warts at all and dismissed this as a possibility on examination she did think it looked very much like herpes and did a swab which came back today as negative - the test for the UTI was positive and have been prescribed something for this. I wondered what else it could be if it wasn’t that though and whether the test could be wrong and when I looked into it I believe a false negative is possible especially if it’s after the first couple days? I hadn’t thought of it being Herpes to begin with as they don’t seem like they have fluid in them? I have booked myself and partner in for a full STI check next week anyway as it’s something we should have really done in the first place. However in the meantime I wanted to know those who have a herpes diagnosis or experience did they think this looks like it at all? I also saw online another condition called Vestibular Pappilomatosis which isn’t an STI and wondering could it be that but don’t know if that’s just wishful thinking. My doctor did not mention this as a possibility. I have been having unprotected sex with new-ish partner for 5 months now. No previous symptoms and he hasn’t shown any symptoms while we have been together and he says never (I believe him). Can anyone help (I hope the photos are not too offensive)

Sorry I am struggling to attach the photos does anyone know how to do this? It’s saying they’re too big (just off my phone)

I have more photos but they are still saying too large but I hope this helps to start

@Confuse12581 how was your follow up diagnosis? I’m really interested to know what the subsequent result was if the initial test was negative.

That does not look like herpes. its Good you’ve got an appointment at the GUM clinic though. A blood test will give you a better result. Be at ease, don’t stress out about it. Even if it was herpes, it’s not the end of the world.

@Aries86 what do you think it might be? I have very much the same symptoms.

@WilsoInAus your thoughts?

Hey @Confused12345 I’m surprised your doc hasn’t got a few more ideas. Perhaps see a gyn.

My first thought was cervical polyps. But maybe a vessel issue not dissimilar to haemorrhoids.

Point is that it’s probably not herpes and could be a range of conditions your doctors will hopefully resolve with you.

Thanks @WilsoInAus. I wondering if you can have herpes and heamaroids at the same time? Sorry if that’s a dumb question. But I was diagnosed last year by swab. I had the lesions. I haven’t seen any since. I don’t even know if I’ve had another outbreak or if it’s just haemmaroids I’m seeing all the time. They’ve never gone away.They are like multiple redish pink round mini pea sized lumps just inside the vagina. I don’t have the finger like protrusions. I don’t have any abnormal bleeding etc.

Hey @Lola16 yes see your gym on that one, sounds potentially like polyps but see an expert here to guide your treatment.

Was your swab properly typed you think?

Hey @WilsoInAus, unfortunately it was swabbed and correctly typed. I remember seeing the lesions myself that were on the outer area.I wish the whole world over that it was wrong. While the outer area is now clear it’s the inner area that has remained the same 🙁

      Good morning. My name is Marlena and I come from Poland. Sorry, my English is average. For two years I have been in a relationship with a man, for a year and a half I have been struggling with intimate problems. On average, my intimate condition is getting worse every month. Then I feel itching, redness, swelling around the entrance to the vagina, small blisters (not always). Most often it is only red and swollen, itches and then disappears. This state lasts 3-4 days. I come from a small town, doctors don't know what it is. They say it's 'skin irritation'. They prescribe moisturizing creams with lactic acid, probiotics. It doesn't help. I did a blood test for HSV on my own, which is very expensive in Poland, but it does not separate HSV1 from HSV2. The doctor, when he shows these results, says that it's not herpes, but irritation. I would like to add that in the past I suffered from herpes on the lips, then it was a 'scab'. There has never been a scab in an intimate area. Sometimes there are blisters that last 1-2 days, but not always. So what do high blood test results mean? I would like to add that in Poland people do not talk about the HSV virus. It's just that sometimes someone has it on their lips and that's it. Results translation: IgM HSV 1/2: questionable IgG HSV 1/2: result above the measuring range https://files.fm/f/4cpu7uee4

      This is my first time posting here. Im generally pretty anxious when it comes to anything to do with health conditions etc. For context I have had jock itch and fungal infections previously on my buttcrack. I have had 0 new sexual partners and I am not concerned about my girlfriend cheating at all. 4 days ago my balls began itching and red pretty much all over, as you can see some general flakeyness and what looks to be a lesion I noticed on Monday when I checked them out. My partner and I do get cold sores from time to time so the anxious part of me is concerned this could be herpes, but at the same time could be some sort of fungal infection. My doctor cant see me until tomorrow so I just have to worry until then. There is no pain and nothing on the penis or anywhere else, just general itchiness. Any ideas if this is herpes or not?

      Yes, but every married person who I found out about that has this waited 6-8 months into the relationship to disclose it. But maybe you're right. If I had told her 6-7 months in, she'd still have Googled it and flipped out, and maybe it would have been harder then. I don't know. I don't see myself going through this level of pain and rejection so easily next time. I really don't. I'm taking the meds. I use protection. It's been almost a decade since I've had it so I'm not worried about shedding or passing it on so easily. British studies confirm that the first 2 years are the most contagious and we're passed that. I'm just over this. I've never been in so much emotional pain in my life.
