Zinc sulfate topical cream- who has had an eruption of white dots from it?

Recommended Posts

Justwhatineed

I posted earlier about the curious case of not having sex with my penis for10 months or unprotected sex for 15 months yet having a nasty first out break of herpes confined to my shaft and glans.

Then I got negative IgM and IgG which we know can be flawed. But I digress.

I just used zinc sulfate on my penis like I did when I had this eruption. And it's doing it again. Its not allergic, something is dying or sloughing. I think candida, bacteria or virus is sloughing out after zinc sulfate topical cream application

Anyone? ZINC SULFATE EXPERIENCE??.??

Hey @Justwhatineed,

Can you tell me More about your experience?

I used also zinc sulfate from Kirkland, and after around 1 week got white breakouts in 3 to 5 locations. They hurt and make a hole and then heal and go away.

I strongly assume it's hpv that is being attacked by the zinc and breaks out and dies.

The cream is Kirkman zinc sulfate 10%.

@Jack_2015 it is the exact same reactions you are describing

I’ve been reading a lot of articles about this. In one study they talked about the zinc being mixed with distilled water and soaked for 5 min.

Hey,

So I tried this procedure a few times. And my conclusion is it doesnt work and makes it always worse.

pain all the time, and even if there are HPV warts (super small one, they dont go away, I can see that after everything is healed).

And the damage to the skin because of the Zinc sulfate cream, is in my opinion making the herpes break out.

I am trying now something new like some biophoton acupuncture patches for 3 months now. I think they somehow improve my immune system, and I am outbreak-free for  2 months already, I never had that before. Usually I would get almost weekly outbreaks.

Lets see how it goes. :)

I sure do appreciate you sharing your results. You use the cream and not the liquid form? I wonde I there’s a difference? What are the patches ours speaking of? I’d like to do some research.

I used the cream.
But like I said, I stopped because I had more adverse effects with it. Those patches are biophoton patches that help to improve immune function of the body. It works similar to acupuncture, but you can patch it yourself basically. You dont have to go to a doctor like in acupuncture. I live in Vienna and there is a acupuncture clinic, when I went to them, they recommend me those patches. and after 1 month of using it, I felt better and did not get any outbreaks for the first time for such a long time.
But the clinic was selling those patches a bit too expensive, plus I had to pay the application costs there.  Now I found them online on a pretty okay priced site and I order it from there. Now its my 3rd month. on I am doing very good and outbreak free. (knock on wood) :D

I have been diagnosed with genital herpes, but never with a specific type. I'm also scared now that I might have oral herpes. I have a few questions. Will the blood test tell me if I have both, or just if I have herpes in general? Is it possible to get a false positive result from a swab? I ask this because my initial genital test was a swab test that came back positive one time, and negative another. Since the positive result I've lived as though I have genital herpes, but now that I think I might have oral herpes, I'm unsure how to proceed. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Hey.  I'm sorry you are going thru all of this.  I've read it not uncommon to have an additional breakout within 30 days of the initial one.  Just know, in time, it does get better.  Less painful..less frequent.  Also, the medical community is moving closer to a cure every day.  I truly believe it's not very far into the future.  This is a good place to talk...dont isolated yourself.

I only take them when i feel something or a symptom.I do not take everyday and that has been working.Best thing for me is to get enough sleep and less stress.

I was diagnosed Monday by swab on my genitals. This is my first outbreak, I’ve been on Acyclovir since Monday. Everything was clearing up until today I noticed a new blister. 😭 Does this mean the Acyclovir is not working? Is it normal for more to pop up? The diagnosis alone has me feeling completely helpless and alone, now with the outbreak coming back I don’t know I can do this anymore. I have been crying all week.
